Chapter 8 - Gunshot

The blood red sun had finally set over the city of Seoul, lying perfectly on a bed of clouds. The atmosphere was still emotional, yet calm. Kevin and Suzy looked at Hwall who was still tightly holding onto the white feather that had fallen on his shoulder, waiting for him to say something. There was a dead silence for a good minute; no wind, no chirping, no rustling of the leaves, just and eerie quietness that would soon be broke.

*RING RING RING*

Kevin looks over at Jae Eun, 'Answer it.' he say's. She lets out a deep sigh and clicks answer...

Jae Eun/ hello?

Jae Eun's Mum: JAE EUN WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!!!

Jae Eun/Suzy: With my friends.. why

Jae Eun's Mum: I don't care... if you are with your friends.. get home now (connection is weak)

*voices can be heard in the background of the phone call.*

Jae Eun: . the connection is bad where I am.. your breaking up...

*Call ends*

Suzy let's out a big sigh, she sensed something was up, something was just not settling.. She rolled her eyes over to Kevin who was just looking at Hwall who was still gazing to the sky. She decided to stop the silence.. "lets head back to mine, you guys can stay at mine after everything that's happened today." she tries to say reassuring with a smile on her little face. "Sure that sound's chill Jae e.." he suddenly stops as he realises he is saying her birth name. Suzy's mouth dropped. kevin pulled his awks , square smile face.

Hwall finally breaks his gaze and turns to Kevin, "I'm gonna find this piece of trash, I swear!" He exclaims. Kevin ruffles his hair and throws his arm over his shoulder. "Lets get back to Suzy's place you need to sleep." Kevin says as they start walking back. Hwall nods and places the white feather in his pocket... the slowly but surely reaches for Suzy's hand and intertwines their fingers. She gasps as his move was unexpected, she turn to look at hwall who is looking at her, " Thankyou Suzy, really" he says sincerely. You could tell he meant it because he had that look in his eyes, it was deep. She smiled back and carried on holding his hand.

It began too rain, only a bit but enough to make everyone's hair a mess. They began running to get out of the rain and under some shelter to keep dry. They stayed un the bus shelter for a while, whilst Suzy rang her chauffeur to see if he could get them. Meanwhile Hwall was on his phone looking at all the news reports, his face became angry. Kevin noticed and quickly took the phone from him, it was the best thing for him. "Keep off your phone just for now, I promise we will find the person who did this.. but please stay off. Kevin said passionately. Hwall let out a scream, cursing and all. Suzy interrupted their conversation before it escalated, "My driver will be hear soon, he said something is going on at home but didn't say much.."she said worryingly.

A car horn beeped catching the attention of the teens. A window rolled down, "Quickly get in!" shouted her driver. Shocked and unsure they entered the car and went their way. In the car fell a deadly silence... It took a bout 5 mins until they reached Suzy's home... "Gentlemen I think you should go home I will take you..." he said, obviously worried they may see something they shouldn't. His face full of worry, eyes darting back and forth. Both and Hwall look confused and turn to Suzy for an answer. Suzy, just as confused as The Boyz, raises concern. "But I said they could come, have you not seen the news?!" She said defensively. Her hands squeezed the leather on the car seat until her nail left imprints on the side. Quickly, she lifts her head and whispers into the driver's ear... Kim, the drivers lets out a sigh and nods. Suzy's face became angry, her fists clenched and she stormed out the car. Kevin and Hwall run after her, still confused as to what is happening.

Suzy slams open the large double doors, the smell of gunshot powder hit her. "Suzy!!!" Kevin yells. All three immediately come to a stand still as they step foot in the house. "What the heck is that smell?" Hwall questions, sniffing the air. "MOM!" Suzy shouts. "Ah Jae Eun your ho... oh I see you brought guests, again. Unfortunately I'm afraid you will have to leave. We currently have a 'family gathering' now." She says with caution. The Boyz sigh and begin to turn and leave. "Why.. does it smell.. like gunshot powder mom... " She asks curiously.. Her mum gives a slight uncomfortable chuckle.. "What gunshot powder Suzy.. you know we don't own guns" She says sarcastically. Suzy walks up face to face with her mom.. "He is back isn't he?" She stares into her moms eyes, demanding an answer. Her mom doesn't reply, but instead.. she smiles and walks away. Suzy screams and runs after Kevin and Hwall... "GUYS WAIT FOR ME, IM LEAVING!!!" -She yell, while crying. She grabs the closest person which is Hwall and falls and holds onto him like her life depended on it... "Hwall I'm so sorry..." She cries. This wasn't normal for her... she was normally so strong. "Its.. Its ok Suzy" Hwall spoke softly into her ear while comforting her.. She looks up to Hwall and they made instant eye contact. In that time, time froze for both of them.. all that mattered was that special, emotional moment between them both.

"So you guys coming over mine then? I Guess you both could use them company... maybe we could plan a revenge attack?" Kevin smiled to try and brighten the mood. Hwall wiped the tear from Suzy's face. "Get in the car... Jae Eun..." He said sarcastically.. Suzy gives back an awkward smile, "I'm sorry, I will tell you when we are at Kevin's, I promise..." She says feeling guilty. "Hwall smiles and they begin walking to the car. Just before he got in the car Hwall fell while holding his stomach, his agonising,, painful secret was getting worse.

"You ok Hwall?" Suzy asks.. "Yeah.. just tummy ache I guess" He lies..
