Do you dare? Part 3

Tee reaches his room after leaving Tae's dorm. He sits on his bed and tries to figure out what has been happening in his life since the first time he kissed Tae.

But I don't have the time to sit and think about it. I've classes in less than an hour.

Tee attends his classes for the day trying to forget the sexy guy who had been invading his thoughts for the past few days.

But in between the classes, his thoughts wander toward the one guy he does not want to think about.

Who am I kidding? It's just because that guy is extremely gorgeous and sexy that I'm attracted to him. Right?

Why him?
But why not?

I've never felt this uninhibited attraction towards anyone else.

That guy makes my mind go numb... With pleasure, with fear, with anticipation.

Do I want this?

I'm not able to get enough of him. I still want to do more than what we've already done.

Fuck, it's not even enough. We've not fucked and I want more. I want him.

But I'm scared. What if I'm the only one who wants him more. Do I want to walk down this road where I'm not in control of my mind or body.

Maybe hooking up with random cute girls is better than feeling insanely attracted to him.

Anyway, for how long have we known each other? A few days!

I should avoid him to preserve my sanity. If I play this game anymore I'm scared, I'd lose.. My heart. And he might trample on it as he may just think of this as just a game after all.

During lunch break, Tae comes to the cafeteria at the psychology faculty. As soon as Tee sees Tae, he runs away from there. Even after asking people about Tee's whereabouts and searching everywhere, Tae is not able to locate Tee.

Of course the reason is because Tee does not want to be found by Tae. He does not want to talk to him. So he just runs when he finds Tae anywhere close to him.

Tae finds out Tee's number somehow. He calls him up only to find that Tee does not pick up any of his calls.

What's happening? Tee's really avoiding me.

I should drop a message for him in case he's busy. If he replies then that means he's not avoiding me, right?

The whole day goes by but Tee does not reply to Tae 's message. Tae feels like finding out where Tee stays so he can visit him at his room.

Am I becoming a stalker, or what?

I will wait for him to contact me I guess. Maybe he needs some time to himself.

A few days pass by but Tee does not contact Tae.

It's Valentines day today.

The student committee of the university has organised a fun event for students where popular guys and girls are invited on stage to give a rose to any one from a bunch of girls and guys respectively.

Many girls invite Tee to come up on stage with a rose and give it to one of them. A few girls even hand him roses beforehand so he does not need to bother buying one for the event and they can hope that they would be the one who would get a rose from Tee.

Ugh! Why would I do something so lame?

Just then he spots Tae entering his faculty and searching for him once again. Tae gives him a call, which he again ignores.

Well, it's time to put an end to this once and for all.

Maybe I'll give a rose to any girl and let Tae see it so that he would just forget everything and everything goes back to normal.

Tee goes to the amphitheatre where the valentine event was going to be held.

Tae's friends drag Tae to the event venue as that's the biggest attraction of the day at the university.

Tae is also invited by several girls and guys to get on the stage but he just stands on one side sulking while his friends are half amused and half annoyed at him to be such a spoilsport.

Praewa who's the MC for the valentine event, comes up to Tee and says, "Why don't you join the guys on the stage? Maybe there will be a surprise for you today."

Praewa had just got to know from her friends that Tee has had a crush on her since he was a freshman. And she does not mind dating such a cutie and conveniently she's just had her breakup with her boyfriend so why not?

Tee gets on the stage with a single rose. He looks around the amphitheatre and finds Tae looking at him with a blank expression. By now even Tae realises that Tee is not interested in him, why else would he get on the stage with a bunch of other girls who are ready with roses in their hands.

After a few girls give roses to guys on the stage, it is time for Praewa to give a rose. She walks up to Tee and gives him a rose. Tee is surprised. Now he realises the meaning behind Praewa's words, "a surprise for you".

Tee is really happy to receive a rose from his crush but before he accepts it, he turns to look at Tae and finds that he was looking shocked, angry and extremely sad all at the same time.

Tee's hand stays in mid-air, not accepting nor rejecting the rose in front of him but just staring at Tae.

Tae looks so hurt and dejected that he turns around and starts walking away from the stage.

Tee is surprised to see such sad expression on Tae's face. He quickly gets down from the stage, clearly rejecting the rose from Praewa. He runs toward Tae and puts his hand on his shoulder to stop him.

Tae turns around and finds Tee in front of him.

Tee looks into the eyes of Tae and finds just a hint of tear in that big guy's eyes.

Tee goes through a myriad of emotions in those few seconds.

Tee gives a small smile that slowly turns into a shy smile and holds up the rose in his hand to give to Tae and says,

"Will you be my valentine?"
