Chapter Nine.

Jordan and I didn’t do anything ‘in the bedroom’ no matter how much I begged and wanted more of him. It’s crazy thinking that I was the one wanting to get at it but he was trying to keep me pure.

Nonetheless we continued being sexual and having rapid make outs whenever we could – which was most of the time.

“Jordan please,” I began as he was feeling up my thigh at a movie theatre.

“Babe, you know that I can’t contain myself.” He said sexually.

I whispered back to him as the commercials continued airing, “I know, but we’re in public and far from the apartment.”

“We could always go at it in the bathroom.” He considered while I playfully slapped him.

“That’s gross; thank god we’re in the dark that nobody can see this.” I replied as I looked around checking to see if there were any people sitting relatively close to us. Thankfully the movie was old enough that there was only one other couple in the theatre with us, and they were sitting front row while Jordan and I were in the back row.

We picked a romantic movie to watch, thanks to moi, and surprisingly he agreed.

As the tape began rolling, we were exposed to a young couple who just met on the streets of New York City, and in them I saw Jordan and I, and our relationship.

Considering it was rated R, the movie featured sex scenes that couldn’t stop Jordan from grasping my face and turning my attention away from the screen to kiss him. I was sure that if I hadn’t warned him before, he would full on undress then and there.

Once it ended I couldn’t help but realize I wasn’t paying attention at all to what happened in the movie as I was too distracted by Jordan.

It was raining outdoors so we ran to the car, and as I was panting inside the vehicle, Jordan didn’t even break a sweat from the run. “So you wanna go back to the apartment or do something else?” I asked him.

“I have a perfect idea, and hopefully you won’t mind it too much.” He replied.

He drove me over to a park and forced me out of the car as if my protesting didn’t bother him.

“Jordan I’m going to get sick.” I told him as I stood under a tree. He looked over at me from the open field he was in with his arms spread out and without hesitation said, “Life’s too short to worry, and even if you get a little sniffle it won’t ruin the amazing memory.”

I looked over at him wondering if I should possibly get hypothermia with him, or if I should stay under the comforting tree, but without a second thought I gave in and ran over to him.

I laughed as he put on some music from his phone and placed it back on the inside of his jacket so it wouldn’t get too wet.

We danced, swung, and ran around in the rain with the random pop music playing without even worrying about the possibly risks we were taking. In that moment nothing mattered other than Jordan’s adorable smile and our fun.

The song switched to John Legend’s “All of Me” and we combined our hands together in a perfect way that reminded me of puzzle pieces, and we stood around shifting our weight from one foot to the other. My head rested on his chest as his chin pressed against my forehead.

I glanced up at him, and he leaned down to give me a peck on the lips. Smiling, he told me, “You’re beautiful.”

The skies began to clear out while we swung on the children’s play set with our fingers still intact.

“We should probably be heading home now.” He looked over at me, his wet hair slightly covering his eyes. I was shivering even though it was no less than 70 degrees, and I nodded quickly.

Once we got home, the car seats were drenched and we were still dripping, so we quietly slipped into the elevator and made our way to the room.

“Aurora do you want some tea?” Jordan asked from the kitchen while I sat in the living room with dry clothes and a towel on my hair.

“There’s actually hot chocolate in the cabinet, and I’m feeling quite childish so make me that instead.” I smirked to myself.

I heard him start the kettle. He then joined me under a blanket.

“That was fun.” He said.

“Yeah, but I wouldn’t do it again anytime soon.” I replied as I felt my nose becoming stuffy.

“Don’t worry, if you get sick I’ll take care of you until you’re perfectly back to health again.” Jordan kissed my nose, then left to make the hot chocolate.

Turns out I did get sick from the rain dancing.

The next day I woke up with a stuffy nose and a slight discomfort in my throat. I choked down a spoon of medicine and registered to blowing my brains out.

Jordan still wasn’t awake at a, sarcastically, shocking 7 am, but I couldn’t bring myself to go back to sleep so instead I made myself a cup of tea and went out to sit on the balcony. The sun was already out and the streets were busy with people going out to wherever they destined to.

“Hey early bird.” A raspy voice startled me.

“I could say the same about you.”

“I just got a feeling that I needed to wake up and I guess it was the gods telling me to comfort you and your cold.” Jordan pecked me on the lips and sat down in the chair next to mine.

“Or maybe it was the large amount of noise I was making in the kitchen trying to find a damn mug.” I replied.

He laughed, “That too, but mostly it was my caring heart that missed you.” He kissed me again.

“And you’re sure you didn’t miss my lips instead?”

“You know me so well Aurora.” He chuckled once more and I joined him with a smile.

Life was pretty amazing and I’d be lying if I said Jordan wasn’t a big influence of it.

I'm sorrrrryyy for a long wait it's just that I've felt so unmotivated to update any of my stories or do anything very productive as a matter of fact.

And this chapter seems pretty dull and boring sorry, I guess it could be considered a filler, but no need to fear! I bet Kerri can do something good with the next chapter.
