Another day... I was just packing my bag to go to the Mystery Room as my phone rang... It was Florence. 'Goodmorning -achoo- Lucy!' I heard from the other side. 'Goodmorning Florence, why are you calling?' 'It's about the Prof. He's not feeling well today so you will be working alone.' Oh... I was a bit disappointed, because I was looking forward to see him. But I guessed it would just be me for a day. 'Thank you for letting me know. Will you be at the office today to keep me company?' 'Yeah, I can -achoo- do that. It will be fun!' I heard her sneezing again. 'Yes, it will. See you in 10 minutes!' I put my phone away, picked my bag up from the ground and walked through the door of my apartment.

It was a bit cloudy that day and it wasn't windy at all. Although it didn't rain, you could feel the humidity in the air. I wondered how the Prof was doing and what was going on with him. It was bothering me. Maybe he just had a cold.

I stepped through the door of the Mystery Room. Florence sat on a chair, which was located next to the Prof his desk. She was reading some files.

'Hello Florence. What do you have there?' I asked. 'Hey Lucy! These are the files from the case of today. It's about a murder on a cruise ship, it happened last week.' I gave her a thoughtful look. 'Here, read for yourself.' She said and handed me the files.

Case 11: the sinking solution.

It all happened on a cruise ship named: 'Sunrise.' It had over 200 people on it while the murder took place. It happened the night before the ship arrived at the end destination. There was a necklace on the ship, which was worth over 200.000 dollars. The carrier of the necklace (and the victim of the murder), named Christina Folsense, was a rich women and bought the necklace a week before the cruise. On social media became known that she was about to take the necklace with her on the cruise, because she was afraid of losing it.
The first week on the cruise went well, but that night it all became a nightmare. People think it was suicide, because she had problems with her fiancee
and she went to a psychologist for her depression because of it. But we have to know for sure if it was indeed suicide.

There are 3 suspects:

Gigi Almero: Best friend of Christina. But was always very jealous of her being rich and according to her, Christina always got what she wanted. She always felt like a third wheel. Christina, her money and then there was Gigi. Gigi and Christina went together on the cruise.

Chris Bloom: Christina's fiancee. He and Christina were planning weeks ago to go together on a cruise. They already had tickets, but then, a week before, they had gone into a fight. the tickets for the cruise were really expensive so Chris went anyways. He went with his cousin, Jake Huntington.

Jake Huntington: Chris his cousin, who was also on the cruise ship. He knew Christina not that well but he had a little crush on her. He was really jealous of Chris. And when he heard that Chris and Christina went into a fight he was really happy. He decided to go on the cruise with his cousin so he could try and win Christina's heart over.

I looked up from the files. I stared out of the window. The Prof would probably know the answer already. 'It would be -achoo- helpful if the Prof was here. He would already -achoo- know the answer and you would investigate and -achoo- figure it out with him.' It began to rain. 'Yes, indeed. I am a little scared to solve this case tho. I'm scared to make the wrong choice and suspect the wrong person.' I looked at Florence, still sitting in the chair. 'Yeah, I -achoo- get that.' I grabbed the second paper from the files. 'But anyways, we have to solve it, with or without the Prof.' Florence nodded.

'So, do you have any idea who the culprit is -achoo-?' asked Florence. I had been staring 20 minutes at the reconstruction. I just couldn't figure it out. 'I need more time.' I said. 'It's almost lunch -achoo- time, Lucy.' said Florence. 'Are you serious? It feels like hours have passed.' I looked at my watch, 12:00. I realized my stomach began to grunt. 'We can go out and eat something?' asked Florence, without sneezing surprisingly. 'Maybe it's good to take my mind off the case for an hour or so.' She nodded again as we walked out of the Mystery Room.

We grabbed lunch at the snackbar around the corner. We had a really fun time together. I've always liked her. 'The Prof texted me that - achoo-  he will be at work tomorrow.' That was a relief. 'That's good news.' I said, trying to act normal and not go wild because I was missing him so much.

We returned to the Mystery Room and I continued working on case 11. I came to the conclusion that Jake the culprit was. He pushed Christina off the ship. He was angry, because apparently Chris and Christina had made up that night too. He was furious about it and saw Christina standing alone at the railing. He tried to grab the necklace as he pushed her into the ocean, but the necklace fell out of his hands into the ocean with Christina. It was night so no one saw that she fell. She drowned. Jake wanted to show Chris what he was going through. To let him know what a heartbreak feels like. It's a bit of a weird case, if you ask me.

'It was a difficult -achoo- case, wasn't it?' I nodded. 'Hopefully it is less difficult with the Prof tomorrow.' I said. Florence smiled. 'What?' She laughed a bit. 'You like him, don't ya?' I blushed. 'No.' I said, trying to hold on to my straight face. 'I know you -achoo- do.' she said laughing. 'I guess my blushing gave it away...' I said and sighed. 'It's nothing to worry about. -achoo- If you two are meant to be together -achoo-, which I think is right, fate will bring you to him -achoo-.' I stared out of the window, again. Thinking if the Prof thought about me as much as I thought about him today...
