Suprised and upset both nick and selena say
"hey demi!" "hey dems!"
Demi: (looking at them suspicously) hey… what was going on???
nick: Nothing ! (nervous) right sel!
Sel: (looks down a bit but in demi direction) yeah… absoultely nothing at all (half-smiles)
Demi: (can tell something up) well alright … so wheres joe?
Nick : (taking a drink of water) umm… he said he was going to go to the rest room … he should be back soon (smiles)
Demi: oh alright than (smiles)
Sel: (out of it , stays silent)
Demi: (notices) hey sel?… you okay???
Sel: (looks up at her) huh? … oh yea im fine (smiles)
Demi: you sure?
Sel: actually… now that i think about it my stomach does hurt a bit ,i think ima call it a night and get home…
Demi: awww but i just got here … stay please!?, Come on nick tell her to stay! (looks at him smiling)
Nick: (looks at her smiles , turns to sel) … yea stay sel… i bet you'll be fine dont go …
Sel: (looks down a bit, fakes yawn) nah actually ima just go … my stomach really hurts … and im getting kinda sleepy so ima just go
Nick: didnt joe drive you … ill take you home if you really want to (looks at her)
Sel: no im good thanks , ill take a cab (hugs demi) tell joe ill see him later
Demi: (hugs back) oh come on sel at least let nick take you home
Nick: (grabs her arm gentle like) come on sel ill jus-
Sel: (takes her arm away) no!
Demi&Nick are both a bit shocked by her sudden bust of anger … nick begins to feel a bit hurt aswell…
Sel: (breathes) sorry … look im fine guys really … besides we dont want the paps seeing us again… ima go sorry … (looks at nick one last time before walkih away)
Nick: (sees hurt in her eyes) well… (sits back down)
Demi: (suprised, ) well i havent seen her act like that in some time… (suspicous) what were you guys talking about before i arrived???
Nick: (looks at his food and shakes his head) nothing dems… just talking about the rumor and media stuff thats all
Demi: (doesnt believe it) hmmm well alright
Joe suddenly walks back from the restroom…
Joe:(sits back down) oh gosh never eating spicy food again ! (laughs) (notices demi here ) oh hey dems! (smiles, notices sel gone & the tension) … woah wheres sel?
Nick: (still looking at his food) she left home…
Demi: she said she was getting tired plus that she didnt feel well anymore …
Joe: how thou? … i drove her here in my car???(thinks)
she didnt take my car right?????!
Demi: (smiles) no joe your keys are right here
Demi suddenly feels like the dinner should be over , hey guys ima make my food to go … how about we all go to joes place and watch some movies (smiles)
Joe: (smiles) yeah !
Nick: nah i think the food is getting to me too ima just go straight home guys sorry
Demi: aww seriously nick
Nick: yeah sorry dems just not feeling it tonight (smiles)
Demi: well just me and joe night it is then
They all leave a tip for the waitress and chip in for the bill even selena left money before she had left… they all said their goodbyes and nick went his way while, demi and joe went to his place to watch some movies.
As nick was driving home he had a sense of guilt and wearyness he didnt understand but he knew excatly what it meant … he suddenly made a U turn to north .
Selena had finally made it home in just 30mins in the cab .She made her way inside her house and shut the door. She sighed deeply trying to sink in what had just happen . She shut her eyes and then opened them to simply walk towards the kitchen and began to put some water to heat for some tea. She just sat on a stool next to the counter looking at the steam rise and she zoned out thinking
"no , selena pull it together nothing happend , just like nick said … what they had was the past and thats how it would stay …he has olivia "
After that thought she felt hurt , she sighed in frustation putting her hands on her forehead and then simply repeated to herself …
"nick is my past …"
And then she suddenly jumped from her seat on the stool when the water heating up began whisteling … she grab a mug and poored some hot water into the mug and stired in jasmine tea …She sat on her table and began thinking about everything … when there was a knock on her door…
"Coming!" she yelled , putting down the tea she she went towards the front door .
She opened the door to see …
"justin?"
Justin: (drunk) please sel , i love you!!!
Sel: (smells hes drunk) justin please go home … your drunk for god sake
Justin: No! (tearing) please baby … i know i keep messing up but please !?!?!
Sel: (shakes her head) no justin but, come inside i dont need you driving while drunk causing yourself harm or anyone else. (grabs an arm and pulls him inside)
Justin: i lloooovveee yooouuuyhhf (slurs his words )
Sel: ima get you some water (shakes her head)
Justin: (yelling) im sorrruutu (slurs)
Sels: (shakes her head), comes back with water to only see a passed out justin on her sofa . she sighes not understanding why hes doing this .Puts a blanket over him and is about to walk upstairs to get ready for bed when theres a knock on her door once again .
Sel: (to herself) dammit! who else is visiting me at 9pm !!!
Angerily walks towards her door and swings it open and yells
Sel: What!?!?!?! ……… (looks down) oh……
