Mariah walked over to Masky, her hair swaying from side to side. "Hey Indigo." She said in a teasing voice. Masky sighed and frowned behind her mask. "What is it Mariah?" She said, her voice annoyed yet soft. "I'm just wondering when you are going to look normal." Mariah smiled. Masky glared even though Mariah couldn't see it. "When I'm good and ready, and don't you have better things to do? I'm looking for my cat." Mariah giggled, and held the feline by its tail. "Don't you mean this cat?" "Mocha....!" Masky furrowed her brows. "Give me my cat Mariah!" "Why should I?" "You're scaring him!" Mocha started to squirm slightly. "Mariah don't make me do something that I'll regret..." Harry walked up to them. "I wouldn't if I were you Masky." He said. "Nick would ban you from seeing Deliah, and Springtrap would attack you." He said as he stood next to Mariah. "Then tell your cousin to let go of my pet because I'm tired of her picking on me." Masky said sternly. Harry gently grabbed the cat and handed it to Masky. "There." He smiled. Masky took Moch quickly and turned away from them, mumbling something as she lightly petted Mocha. Mariah laughed. "She's pathetic." "And you're fat but I don't point that out everyday." Masky quickly said. "No I'm not!" Mariah raised hee hand to slap Masky as Henry grabbed his cousins hand. "Enough, both of you!" He said. Mocha hissed at Mariah as Masky stepped back, petting him to calm him down. Mariah hugged Harry in fear. "Don't let that thing touch me!" she shrieked. "You're one to talk..." Masky growled. "There are demons in this world that are well enough alive, I just don't know why anyone can't sdd that you're one of them." Masky turned and walked away. "How dare you say that!" Mariah shouted as Henry tried to calm his hostile cousin down. Masky walked to a nearby bench and sat down, feeling a little better but not fully. "I'm sorry Mocha, she won't hurt you anymore." Harry walked over and sat. "I'm sorry about that, Mariah has some," Harry paused. "mental issues." "Yeah that's what you think. Maybe try telling her that the world doesn't revolve around her." Masky said, scooting away from him slightly. "It's hard to believe that you two are related." "Yeah," Harry sighed. "but at the end of the day she is pretty adorable." Masky looked away. "That's hard to believe." "Look." Harry showed Masky a picture of Mariah asleep, looking like a baby from how peaceful she is. Masky looked at the picture, furrowing her brows a little, then looked away again, her mood lightened a little. Harey chuckled. "Come on! Smile!" He prompted. She shook her head. "I don't smile much, and even if I were tob you wouldn't be able to see it." Harry hugged Masky. "How about now, hmm?" Masky tensed a little then shortly calmed afterwards. "Negative," she said calmly. "though it was a nice sensation." Harry sighed. "Alright then." "Don't take it personally, I am alright with affection, I am just not one to react, but if it makes you feel better.." She turned and hugged him. Harry smiled and hugged back. "At least I know that you care about others. Sorry if this sounds rude but it is about a bet I made." "Weirdo, don't make bets about me." "Heh, sorry." Harry said. "Anyway let's go" somewhere!" he said, picking up Mocha as he held Masky's hand. She followed, slightly blushing under her mask. She shook off the love as she knew Deliah likes Harry so she couldn't interfere. Harry smiled at Masky. "Do you like icecream?" He asked. She shrugged. "Never had it before." Harry's face lit up with happiness. "Come on! Let's go buy some so you can try it!" "Alright! Just calm down!" Masky said, giggling. "I'm sorry I guess I love icecream. I guess you could say that I'm a bit like Mariah." He said. "More or less." Masky replied. Harry chuckled. "Maybe we can play some games at my house after!" he said. "That sounds nice." Harry started to walk towards the store. "Hurry up Masky!" he shouted over his shoulder. Masky sighed and followed him. Harry walked into the store. "Mocha is adorable." He said. "Thank you. He is still a baby so that's why I'm worried whenever he goes missing." Harry's voice went serious. "I will make sure Mariah doesn't go anywhere near him." Masky tilted her head but didn't say anything. Harry picked up a tub of caramel icecream. He picked up another, this time strawberry abd paid for both. Masky crouched down as Mocha ran over to her, full of energy. She gently stroked him. Harry walked out of the store, followed by Masky and Mocha.
Harry set the icecream on the kitchen counter and sat on the couch. Masky sat next to him about a few inches away. Mocha jumped out of her arms and curled up on the floor. Harry smiled childishly. "Mariah might be back in a bit." he said. "Hmm... Ok" Masky said whilst she crosses her legs then set her hands on her lap. He raised an eyebrow "You aren't happy about that, are you..." Masky shrugged and looked away. He sighed. "Just give her one more chance! I promise she will behave!" "Harry, that's a promise you can't keep. You cannot control someone else's behaviour." Masky said, looking at Harry. "Bur I might give her one chance." "Good. Ans I can control her behaviour since I'm older." "Ah I see.." Masky said, looking away. Harry raised an eyebrow."What's wrong?" "Nothing... I was just thinking about my parents, my real ones." She shrugs. Harry sighed. "What were they like?" "My father... He was the best. He couldn't ask for anything more than love. My mother..." She paused for a moment. "she is the reason I wear a mask." Harry's eyes widened. "Wh-what did she do!?" Masky looked down and thought before gently placing her hands on the sides of the mask and removing it to reveal ice blue eyes yet a giant scar on the left side of her face. She looked at Harry in a blank manner. "When I was little my mother was obsessed with her own beauty. My father would complement the both of us but my mother always grew jealous. So one night, whilst I was asleep, she took a tray of hot wax and poured it on my face.my father was only alerted when my cries became loud enough. My mother went to jail but since the waz had melted, I was left with this burn and no longer considered myself a pleasant sight." Masky told him. Harry hugged her. "It's alright, you're beautiful just the way you are." Masky looked at her mask. "You know, you're just like him,my father. He was the only thing that brought me happiness." She smiled to herself. "Thank you Harry." "No need to thank me." he said with a smile. "I just say what's on my mind." Masky nodded, looking at her mask before putting it back on. Harry took the mask off. " wear it, you look better without it." "Hmm, I assure you that many others disagree." Masky said. "What will it take to convince you Masky?" "You don't have to, I won't wear it if it really means that much to you" She said looking at him now. Harry smiled as Mariah walked in. "Ugh why is that here?" She said with a rude tone. Indigo looked down and covered the burnt side of her face. Mocha got up and hissed running behind the couch. Harry sighed and made room for his cousin. Mariah smiled as she nibbled on some chocolate. "Mariah," Harry said. "be nice to Masky, alright?" Mariah ignored her cousin's request and continued to eat."It's fine." Masky stands up and grabs her mask "I was just leaving" she walks behind the couch and put her hand out to her cat "Moka, kanojo ni kite" she spoke sternly making him run to her. Harry stood up. "Don't leave! Please!" Masky stood and picked Mocha up "I will keep my promise for as long as I can. My parents are probably expecting me." she walked to the door. Mariah raised an eyebrow. "What promise did you make?" She asked. Masky stopped infront of the door "......." she covered the burnt side of her face with hair then leaves closing the door behind her. Harry opened the door and followed Masky. "Please... Please Masky!"
