School lockdown stories! Whoop whoop! Yay(note the sarcasm)
So I was watching a school lockdown story and remembered the only two that didn't count as drills.
This one is funny, so enjoy with smiles
It was first grade and we are in the class rooms doing math I think, and the Speaker system came on.
They told us that it wasn't a drill, and we sat in silence for a good ten minutes before it was announced it was safe. The next day after a normal day of school I had asked my mom what happened and she said that a guy with a shotgun was on the campus, unbeknownst to him, and was hunting looking for a turkey!

Ok, This one is kind of scary, and isn't much of a joke, but it's one of my favorite experiences because I felt motherly(weird, right?) this is also another school, and it was my second year there.
Ok it was fourth grade(or third, most likely fourth) and we were eating lunch with pre-k-4/3(??) and they put us on lockdown.
We all had to get under the table, I thanked the gods that the floor was clean and I had the space between the connector of the two tables. I was pretty self conscious of my weight already, and I always wore jackets. So when my frenemie (friend enemy), who sat beside me, began to cry and freak out, I took of my jacket.
You know those little bars that stuck out the side? No? Yes? Anyways I hung my jacket up, which was black and blended in and paid attention to the other person on my right who was crying. I whispered comforting words and laughed silently.
I had found out the next day at school that everyone went on lockdown through the whole parish because a guy near had escaped prison and they had precautions set.
