"Are you sure we haven't met before? I know ya face, I know ya name, but I don't know you?"

Zayn's House
1:18 P.M.

Liam was currently sitting outside the unfamiliar house that was said to be his ex-lover's and he was nervous. All the courage he had up until this point had been drained out of him once he pulled up to the house and he wasn't entirely sure why.

It wasn't like he knew what happened to them, all he remembered was his sweet, loving, pregnant boyfriend. What frightened him, he supposes, was that undoubtedly times had changed and there was no indication of what Zayn was like now.

The only source he had to give him some entail on how to approach this was Harry and Harry knew little to nothing about how Zayn was doing given they very scarcely talked after the breakup, according to Harry. Harry asked Liam if he maybe wanted to get Louis to help them out because he knew Zayn better than anyone, but Liam quickly declined. Getting Louis involved would mean his whole his plan was ruined, not that he had much of a plan now that he thought about it.

Liam begins to think over what he plans to do. Step one would be to knock on the door and wait for an answer, step two is ask Zayn if they can talk and step three was still pending until further notice.

Liam decided he would call the only person that knows about this for some guidance.

Liam tapped on Harry's contact name in his new phone and awaited an answer from his friend. After the fourth ring a deep, slow voice answered the phone.

"What's up, mate? Did you make it there yet?" Harry questioned.

Liam sighed, "Yeah, I'm here, but I'm a bit nervous, like what do I say to him?"

"Ask if you all can sit down and talk, tell him your situation, and go from there." Harry advised as if it was that easy, but Liam was so sure it wouldn't be that simple. They were in a time Liam was so unsure of just about everything and it made him unsure of Zayn. At any other time, he could read the boy like the back of his hand, he knew how he would react to things and so forth, but this was uncharted territory for him.

When Harry didn't get a response right away from Liam he questioned him, "Hey, did you tell Alex where you were at and about this whole thing?"

Liam openly discussed how he was contemplating being honest with the Alex and telling him he was planning to meet with Zayn. On the other, he also thought about keeping this to himself and doing it on his own. He still isn't sure if he made the right choice, but he chose the latter option.

"Actually, I decided I wasn't going to. I don't want him getting involved especially if the break up is as messy as you say it was. I need to do this on my own. I just told him I was visiting my parents."

"Okay." Harry replied a bit weary of his friend's decision to not fill Alex in on him meeting up with his ex, but it wasn't his place to critique.

Liam let out a deep breath, a little unsure of what to say next, but not yet ready to get out the car.

"Mate, your breathing in my ear. Either stop being a pussy or go back home to Alex." Harry said suddenly making Liam scowl a bit, but he knew his friend was right.

"Okay, alright, I'm getting out of the car. I'll call you and tell you how it went later. If I end up getting arrested be ready to bail me out." And with that he ended the call, stepping out of the car.

He examined the house and it honestly didn't look bad, although it was smaller than both him and Zayn used to imagine their house would be.

Liam walked up to the front of the house and tried to open the screen door, but it was locked so he settled on tapping the little white doorbell.
