A few days after the king left with the Starks we had compelled the people in Orleans to keep the place running smoothly while we were away and if anyone tried to take our land to kill them. We also agreed that Kol would stay behind as it would be considered rude if Elijah didn't attend. Klaus wanted to go so he could scout our enemies. Rebekah decided she wanted to see kings landing and since Sandor would be in the tourney I would attend to watch him.
We had grown closer in the time before we headed for kings landing, not by much but still. I have taken to slipping him my blood in case if he is killed. I know in the show he is fine but since we are changing things I would rather be safe than sorry.
We rode in on our horses and were given places to stay. Rebekah and I were obviously given looks for coming in riding pants but like hell were we about to ride here in dresses. I am happy to say that I never cease to surprise Sandor with my attitude and personality. Hopefully, he finds that attractive. The tourney is to last three days then we can leave and begin our plan to put the Mikaelson's on the Iron Throne.
"I've been sitting here for days! Start the damn joust before I piss myself!" The lovely king shouted while I rolled my eyes annoyed. We just got here and we have to deal with that. My brothers and sister found their seats up front while I sent Sandor off to get ready.
"Gods, who is that?" I overheard the young Sansa speak up in surprise and I smirked as I made my way towards her. I have plans for Petyr Baelish.
"Ser Gregor Clegane. They call him the Mountain. The Hound's older brother."
"And his opponent?" She asked concerned for whatever poor soul was up against that monster.
"Ser Hugh of the Vale. He was Jon Arryn's squire. Look how far he's come."
"Yes, yes. Enough of the bloody pomp. Have at it!" The king called as I took a seat in the back discreetly.
"Not what you were expecting? Has anyone ever told you the story of the Mountain and the Hound? A lovely little tale of brotherly love. The Hound was just a pup, six years old maybe. Gregor a few years older, already a big lad, already getting a bit of a reputation. Some lucky boys just born with a talent for violence. One evening... Gregor found his little brother playing with a toy by the fire... Gregor's toy, a wooden knight. Gregor never said a word, he just grabbed his brother by the scruff of his neck and shoved his face into the burning coals. Held him there while the boy screamed, while his face melted. There aren't very many people who know that story." Petyr told her while my smirk grew.
"I won't tell anyone. I promise." Sansa told him terrified.
"No, please don't. If the Hound so much as heard you mention it, I'm afraid all the knights in King's Landing would not be able to save you." He told her with a grin and I chuckled gaining their attention.
"Now don't be so grim, Sandor could care less that you know. Besides he's a good dog who knows to listen to his master." I told the two who stared at me in shock. I heard Rebekah snort at my choice of words and I grinned.
"You're the woman from house Mikaelson. You bought the hound from prince Joffrey." Sansa said surprised that she was seeing me.
"That I am. Now then it still isn't very nice to tell secrets that aren't yours isn't it Lord Baelish?" I asked with a smirk as I stared him in the eyes making him gulp.
"I meant no disrespect, my Lady, I was only telling Lady Sansa of what I knew of the brothers," He told with a smile.
"Of course. I don't mind that you do. Now if you will excuse me a moment." I excused my self as Sandor entered the area on a horse in his armor branded with the Mikaelson Sigil on the breastplate. I strode to the front stand near my siblings and pulled out my gold and black ribbon.
"Sandor!" I called and he had the horse trot to where I was standing beckoning him over.
"What now woman?" He asked annoyed as everyone was staring at us.
"My favour," I said simply as I leaned over and tied the ribbon to his armor. As I was tieing the ribbon I looked into his eyes and compelled him.
"Win," I said simply and he nodded. I gave a smile as I kissed his cheek.
"Damn woman," He muttered before riding off but I swore he had a twinge of pink on his face.
"Sister, how mischievous of you," Klaus spoke up with a smirk in which I returned with one of my own.
"You know I love a good scandal," I said with a wink as I made my way back towards Sansa and Lord Baelish. Rebekah snickered and I heard Elijah sigh along with the muttering of the crowd at what I had done.
