Dedication to BekkaRush for the amazing cover! And for being my 1st fan and first commenter on my first Wattpad book! Thank you so much! It really means a lot!

Hi everyone! I recently discovered wattpad and at first all I did was read a lot of books. There are A LOT of talented writers out there. I didn't think about putting up some of my own work, but then I remembered how I had a short story from a portfolio that I had to do. When I say I'm an amateur, I really am one. I appreciate any reads! I really do! And I'd really appreciate any comments! I want constructive criticism! Thanks so much and let me know if I should continue! If you think I should I'm definitely going to try and update often, I'm just hoping to get more comments and get my story more out there if you know what I mean. So please share this story too!

        “YOU. SON. OF. A. BITCH!”

Everyone in the hallway turned their heads to face a petite girl stomping furiously down the hall with a terrifying death-like stare pelting out of her intense green eyes. They all watched in fear and excitement as she approached a handsome fellow. He held the same shocked and fearful expression on his face that practically everyone in the hallway had. But in those dark brown eyes that sometimes appeared so delicate and beautiful when the sunlight hit it, there was no hint of the excitement that had reached the eyes of others. There was only fear, guilt, and regret.

The steam that was rising from the green-eyed girl was full blown smoke by the time she reached him and although he kept telling himself to man up and hold her gaze, he could not. Her stare had shot lasers into his eyes and he had to look away. He wanted to speak, but he couldn’t decide what the right thing to say was so he just kept quiet. For once in his life he was speechless.

“How dare you.” she said. Somehow she managed to speak at a normal volume, but the anger was evident in her tone. “How dare you follow me.” She glared at him. Well more like she glared at the creases on his forehead caused by his furrowed brow that faced downwards. Her eyes continued down to his defined lips and she felt her heart thumping as it began to increase. She watched as his lips started to part getting ready to speak. Her mind regained control over her body as she tensed up, the anger filling her up again.

“Don’t you dare speak,” she threatened. “I trusted you… Wait. No. Scratch that. I ALMOST trusted you and now I never will,” she watched as he flinched at her words. It only made her angrier. She locked onto his face and pulled it up so that those brown eyes could reach hers. “You are an asshole for what you did. You lied to me. You never cared. You were just a nosy jerk who was so bored with his shit of a life that you had to go and mess with someone else’s life. Well guess what? Fuck. You. I would never call a scum like you a friend.” She spat out. “You’re dead to me.”

Those brown eyes that weren’t watery before were devastated for half a second, but they hardened. He wasn’t going to let everyone see him like this. He watched as she continued down the hallway. He was longing for her to look back so that he could see those green eyes. He wanted to see if she meant all that she said. He wanted to see if her eyes would deceive her and tell him what he wanted to know. His mind kept repeating itself, “she didn’t mean it,” it seemed to say. But as he turned back to his locker to finish grabbing his stuff, he couldn’t help but feel like she had meant every single word she said. What was even worse was that she had used the word friend and he couldn’t help but wonder if that’s all she ever thought of him.
