Leo: Yikes! What is this?! *taps start new game and he types his name in*

The screen goes black, then looks like a city.

???: Heeeeeeeyyy!!

Leo sees an annoying girl running toward him from the distance, waving her arms in the air like she's totally oblivious to any attention she might draw to herself.

Leo: *thinks She looks like Zandre, in a Sayori look, a Zayori!*

That girl is Zayori, in the game, his neighbor and good friend since they were kids. You know the kind of friend you'd never see yourself making today, but it just kind of works out because you've known each other for so long? They used to walk together on days like this, but starting around high school, she would oversleep more and more frequently, and Leo would get tired of waiting up. But if she's going to chase after me like this, Leo almost feels better off running away. However, he just sighed and stayed idle in front of the crosswalk and let Zayori catch up to him.

Zayori: Haaahhh...haaahhh...

Zayori: I overslept again! But I caught you this time!

Leo: *plays along with the game* Maybe, but only because I decided to stop at wait for you. *Thinks Zayori is kinda cute!*

Zayori: Eeehhhhh, you say that like you were thinking about ignoring me! That's mean, Leo!

Leo: Well, if people stare at you for acting weird, then I don't want them to think we're a couple or something.

Zayori: Fine, fine. But you did wait for me, after all. I guess you don't have it in you to be mean even if you want to-

Leo: Whatever you say, Zayori...

Zayori: Ehehe-

They cross the street together and they make their way to school. As they draw near, the streets become increasingly speckled with other students making their daily commute.

Zayori: By the way, Leo...Have you decided on a club to join yet?

Leo: *thinks Woah! A club, awesome!* A club? I told you already, *thinks aww, this sucks*, I'm really not interested in joining any clubs. I haven't been looking either.

Zayori: Eh? That's not true! You told me you would join a club this year!

Leo: Did I...? *thinks I hope so!*

Leo is sure it's possible he did, in one of their many conversations where he dismissively goes along with whatever Zayori goes on about. Zayori likes to worry a little too much about Leo, when Leo is perfectly content just getting by on the average while spending his free time on games and fighting villains with ninja skills with his brothers.

Zayori: Uh-huh! I was talking about how I'm worried that you won't learn how to socialize or have any skills before college. Your happiness is really important to me, ya know! And I know you're happy now, but I'd die at the thought of you becoming a NEET in a few years because you're not used to the real world! You trust me, right? Don't make me keep worrying about you...

Leo: Alright, alright...I'll look at a few clubs if it makes you happy. No promises, though.

Zayori: Will you at least promise you'll try a little?

Leo: Yeah, I guess I'll promise you that.

Zayori: Yaay-!

Why does Leo let himself get lectured by such a carefree girl? More than that, Leo is surprised he even let himself relent to her. Leo's guess is seeing her worry so much about him makes him want to ease her mind at least a little bit-even if Zayori does exaggerate everything inside of her head.
