Chapter 1
Being born to a Rock God and small town bell, isn't all it cracks up to be.
I mean, there are perks of course--the endless amounts of back stage passes from the age of 2 to 14 are fun, and of course the occasional splurge of money spent on clothes when your a teen is always enjoyable, but it gets boring. Fast. When you've been to over three hundred concerts almost every year for over a little less than a decade, you get tired of it all. Even when dad and the boys ended two years ago, back when I was fourteen, the concerts didn't.
Dad is either mentoring some new band, or just invited to a concert almost every week. I stopped going freshman year, after countless days of missing middle school, I finally decided to put my foot down and actually get an education. Which, might I add, is nearly impossible in LA where not only your dad is in the Rock of Fame, but all your 'uncles' are too. The number of fake friends I've had over the last year could put the whole state of Rhode Island to shame in one day. So, by the summer of junior year, I put a break on everything
And how I went about it was easier than flushing the toilet.
Thats what happens when you have open minded parents.
"Can I talk to you guys for a moment?" I slid into my parents room where I found my dad holding up what looked like a book and my mom fiercly jumping up trying to reach of the novella. Children I swear.
"Guys." I call out again, but of course they ignore me like I was never born and continue to play around.
"Andrew Dennis Biersack if you don't give my book back, I'll punch you in the fucking face!" My mom screamed pulling on dads shoulder. So my parents were young hearted and constantly acted like they were sixteen. They weren't old only somewhere in their early forties.
"Babe, if you can't reach my ass how are you going to reach my face?" Dad laughs and holds the book up higher.
Mom crossed her arms and glared up at my dad. Sadly, I didn't get much of Dads height making me only slightly taller than my mom who stood at five two and a half.
"If you don't give me the book you aren't getting any tonight." She sneers. Dad freezes his movements and stares in shock at mom,
"You wouldn't."
"Try me Dennis."
"Oh I woul--"
I chose to speak up in this moment. "Okay! Innocent minded teenager in the room, lets keep it PG kids!"
They both turn to me.
"When did you get there?" Dad asks dropping his arm to his side.
"Seriously, I've been here for five minutes watching you guys flirt like teenagers. Trust me, keeping my dinner down was a challenge." I note and lean against the door. Both raise their eyebrows.
"Your dad was just being a dick." Mom elbows and him in the stomach.
"Your mom likes my dic--"
"Andy!"
"Dad! Come on my ears!" I cry and cover my ears in a hurry. If I don't talk quick itll get worse.
"I just came here to tell you that I'm want to stay with Rebecca for my junior year."
"Why?" They both ask.
"Will you stop copying me?" Mom throws up her hands and glares at dad.
"I said it first!"
"No you did--"
"Mom!" I interrupt again gritting my teeth to keep my calm. I swear sometimes talking to them was harder than talking to Skyler and she's only five.
