Trustworthy- Chapter 1
My name's Carlee Kane I live with my mom, world known actress, Mady Kane. You could say I'm living the life, but there is always that one thing bugging me. I just don't know who to trust. My best friend Kirsten is the only person besides my mom that I can talk to. Kirsten seems to know every aspect of my life. Everything I do I always make sure to tell Kirsten about it.
Kirsten and I are absolutely addicted to twitter. The only defference between our accounts was the fact that mine was verified, but only because I'm Mady Kane's daughter. I tend to update my twitter at least once a day. There a quite a few celebrities following Kirsten and I. Kirsten just tends to get more excited about it than I do.
My mom had called me downstairs for another of our mother-daughter meetings. It was basically just to discuss what we would each be doing for the day. Since we were at our lovely 'flat' in London for the summer, there wasn't a lot to do outside. The weather is absolute crap in London this time of year.
Kirsten lived with my mom and I, ever since her parents died three years ago. So wherever I went Kirsten was usually near by. There was the occasional day where my mom and I did things alone and Kirsten stayed home. On those rare occasions Kirsten and I text each other the whole time we're apart.
When I got downstairs for the mother-daughter meeting of the day, I found out that this was one of those rare days. My mom had so kindly forgotten to mention a photo shoot that called for only the two of us. I would have to go a day without my bestie. Hopefully Kirsten could find something to do with herself in this abnormally large flat for about six hours.
Once the meeting was done with, I headed back to mine and Kirsten's adjoined bedrooms. I went through her bedrom door and had to tell her the plans for the day. "So Kirsten, my mom and I have a mother-daughter photo shoot today. It starts at ten and should be done around four, that means we should be back at around five thirty." Her response was bored sounding. "Ok Carls, I'm sure I can find something to keep me busy." That's when I got in the shower and started getting ready for the shoot.
My 'Look Of The Day', as I like to call it, was dark wash skinny jeans with a white One Direction shirt that my mom bought me. I wore white-gray sparkly heels, that Kirsten bought me last month for my birthday present. I left my naturally wavy, light brown hair down, the stylists could do what they wanted at the shoot, the same with my make-up. By the time I was done getting ready it was time for my mom and I to head to the photo shoot.
The car ride over was very short, nothing eventful happened, as the fans and paps didn't know where we were staying for the summer yet. I hadn't tweeted where I was, becuase my mom had asked me not to say anything yet. I had loads of pictures ready to upload to twitter and instagram. They would be up as soon as my mom gave me permission.
The second my mom and I arrived at the location for the shoot, we heard shrill crying, or at least thats what it sounded like. Neither my mother nor I had heard anything like it. As it turns out the 'shrill cries' were about 300 screaming, teenage girls. We had no idea what was going on. Surely these weren't our fans, there has never been a crowd like this before just for us.
Good thing Mom had bothered to bring security with us, we would've been mobbed, even if the girls weren't for us. When I stepped out of the car I heard a girl scream "Look at her shirt, she must be another fan!!!!!!!!" I assumed she was talking about me, I mean I was wearing a One Directon shirt, loads of girls like them, especially in London.
Kirsten and I are actually fans of One Direction. Kirsten always had this thing for Harry, I on the other hand had a thing for a certain blonde Irish-boy in the group. All five boys follow my mom on twitter but no matter how hard I try, I still couldn't get them to follow Kirsten or I.
My mom and I continued into the building with the help of our security. Thankfully my mother and I didn't get noticed. The hype outside the building was too much for much of anyone to notice us.
The next thing I knew we were being sweeped away into the area we needed to be. My mother and I were both rushed to hair and make up immediately. I was completely glitzed and glamoured by the time the stylist was done. I thanked her politely and went to wardrobe. The stylist fixed a spunky, tightly fitted orange dress to fit me and all my curves like a glove.
I was done getting ready before my mom, so I went to get food, as I hadn't had time to get anything. At the same time that I spotted the food table, I spotted 5 tux clad boys racing the get the donuts and jelly beans from the table. I sucked in a rather large breathe for such a small girl. The only thing I knew enough to do was take out my phone, snap a picture and send it to Kirsten.
The reply came back instantly.
Kirsten: HOLY SHIT IS THAT WHO I THINK IT IS?!?!?!?!?!?!
Me: YES! They haven't seen me yet but I'm in the presence of THE ONE DIRECTION!!!!!
