Unlike me, Abel isn't rich but he lives in a decent two story house with only his mother. But just like me he's the only child. That's why we bonded very well when we met. The drive to his house takes at least 30 minutes because he lives on the side of town that my father will never be seen at. He calls it the "poor" side of town, which is just disgusting. I still can't believe I put up with him for 17 years of my life. The only decent thing he ever did for me was let me go to the same school as Abel and Luca.Even though I had to wake up extra early and drive thirty minutes to get to school it was so worth it. I'd rather go to a public school than to a private school full of brats who are spoiled rotten by their parents. But because of that I never made friends in the part of town I live in. They think I'm weird for going to a "poor" school when I'm rich. But I don't even mind because I could never be friends with brats like them, they're just like my father.
When I make it to Abel's house I loudly knock on the door. I'm not disrespectful I only knock like this when I know his mom isn't home and since he's always upstairs blasting music I have to make sure he hears me knocking. A few seconds later I hear him shout 'I'm coming!' from upstairs.
He opens the door wide open and smiles when he sees its me. He spreads his arms to hug me and I lean into his arms to squish him as tightly as I can.
"Cley you took longer than expected to make it here." He whispers while we're still hugging each other.
We let go of each other and I walk past him making my way to the kitchen. His mom always filled up their kitchen with junk food and I absolutely loved it. It's one of the main reasons why I'm staying with Abel instead of Luca. I look into their pantry and find my favorite chips. Smiling I grab the bag and start heading upstairs, the whole time Abel trailing behind me. Ms. Mendez loves me and always makes sure to buy my favorite chips.
"I hope you did what I asked you to do." I mumble while stuffing my face with chips.
Abel scoffs, "asked me? More like demanded me." I laugh at him.
I open the door to his room and surprisingly find it spotless. "Well since you never listen to your mom, I might as well help her out." I shrug and jump on his bed. I lay flat on my back and stare at the ceiling. "Plus I know you never say no to me." I look towards him and wink.
He rolls his eyes at me with a smile plastered on his face 'cause he knows it's the truth. "So did you do it?" He asks me with curiosity laced in his voice.
"What do you think dumbass?" I mock him.
"No fucking way." He stands up and lays next to me. "I didn't think you would actually do it."
"Since when does the amazingly hot Cleo not keep her word?" I scoff and he groans like a whining child.
"First of all Cley. You? Hot? Tf, what world do you think we live in?" He grins smugly. My jaw drops surprised.
"Watch your mouth Abel! That night we met you couldn't stop hitting on me!" I grab a pillow and smack his face with it.
He throws it back at me but I catch it just in time before it touches my face, "Only because I recently broke up with Heather and you were gonna be my rebound." The smirk on his face doesn't disappear. If it's even possible my jaw drops lower.
"You mean she broke up with your ass, and I don't blame her to be honest."
"Says the one whose never had a boyfriend." He scoffs.
"You know damn well why." I growl back at him.
"What's the matter Cley? To mad to admit you're ugly?"He cracks up laughing. That just gets on my nerves even more so I get up and walk out the room. I could hear him trying to calm down his laughter. For gods sake why is he so annoying? He plays around too much and most times I play along but I'm not in the mood to right now.
