"Ugh!" You groaned, shutting off your alarm clock after it just woke you up.

You rolled out of bed so you could change out of your PJ's. You switched from your pajamas to a small, thin jacket with a tank top underneath and skinny jeans.

You slipped on the first pair of shoes you could find so you could go to school early. Once you finished getting ready, you slung your backpack over your shoulder and you made your way to the kitchen for breakfast.

You said good morning to your mom before you sat at the dining table so you could eat your breakfast. Your mom had prepared your favorite cereal, so you ate it all very quickly.

Your mom drove you and dropped you off at your high school. It was the beginning of the school year, and you wanted to get to your first class as soon as possible.

You swiftly entered the main doors of the huge building, and you walked down the hall to your first class, Math.

It was your Senior year if high school, so you knew the whole map of the school by heart.

You were about to enter the class, when a boy with long, fawn-colored hair stopped you.

"Uhm, hi. I'm Levi, and do you know where room 242 is?" Levi asked nervously, scratching the back of his neck with one hand, and the other stuffed into his jeans pocket.

"Yeah, it's this one." You replied smiling, whilst pointing to the classroom you were about to enter. "I'm Y/N, by the way."

"Thank you!" Levi replied gratefully, letting you enter first before he did the same.

"No problem!" You said to him as you entered the room to see only a few students were here early.

You sat down somewhere in the middle of the classroom, and Levi sat in the seat in front of you.

Levi turned his body so he could face you. "I'm new here, so..uhm, would you mind giving me a tour of the school?"

"Not at all. I'd be happy to help."

Levi returned to the position his body was facing after he smiled at you as a sign of thanks.

Soon after, the teacher walked in the room and she introduced herself.

"Hello students, I am Mrs. Lee. I know most of you know this already, but we have a new student who will be joining us for the rest of semester."

You glanced at Levi, who sat at the desk across from you.

Mrs. Lee motioned for Levi to introduce himself, and he did.

"Hi, I'm Levi Miller, I'm 17. And I'm Australian." Levi sat back down in his chair, and Mrs. Lee began with her math lesson.

"Y/N?" Levi whispered, turning slightly so he could look at you from the corner of his eye.

"Hmm?" You replied, turning your head from the whiteboard Mrs. Lee was writing on, to Levi's face.

"May I borrow a pencil?" He asked, nervously fiddling with his fingers.

"Yeah." You reached in your pencil pouch to pull out a silver mechanical pencil, and you handed it to him. "You can keep it, I've got plenty."

Levi nodded at you and muttered a quiet "Thanks," before he turned back around and started to write something on a piece of paper. Maybe he was taking notes.

You returned your attention to the whiteboard and Mrs. Lee, to get interrupted by Levi lightly tapping on your desk with the pencil you gave him.

Levi then replaced the pencil in his hand with a small piece of torn off paper, and he dropped it on the edge of you desk.
