"Anyway, we should give Y/N the rest of her surprise." Levi interrupted you from your thoughts.

"There's more?" You asked, looking at Levi's rosy-pale face.

"Meeting me was only half of the surprise." Levi winked, making your heart flutter.

"What's the other half?"

"You'll see."

. . .

"Well, I'll leave you two alone now.." Y/F/N muttered, walking sideways back to her Toyota.

"You're not coming with us?" You inquired, looking behind your shoulder at your friend.

"Nah, I have to.. uh.. bye!" Y/F/N quickly opened her car door, and she slammed it shut. You heard her rev the car engine before speeding off into the distance.

"Whatever. So, what's the rest of my surprise?"

"I'll show you." Levi held out his hand, and you hesitantly took it in your own.

You and Levi started walking, and it was the first time that you took in your surroundings. You were in this wooded area, trees and shrubs encircled a dirt path, with pebbles and leaves strewn about. You've seen this place before, when you were driving to the grocery store, you often saw this little forest on your way.

There were few people sitting on benches, reading the newspaper whilst their children played in a nearby playground. The playground wasn't that big, just a set of swings, a seesaw, and monkey bars along with two plastic slides. The playground was fairly enclosed from the rest of the park.

Levi led you farther and farther away from the park and the playground, onto a trail leading into a deeper part of the woods.

"Why are we here?" You said, your feet sore after so much walking, and your arms itchy from all the bug bites you were receiving.

"Well, Y/F/N told me that this was a date." Levi replied, not stopping to look at your beet-red face.

"A d-date?" You stuttered, stopping completely in your tracks, and letting go of his hand .

"Yeah, that's why I came, to go on a date with you. Oh look, we're here!"

You looked in front of Levi, and you saw a plaid red-and-white blanket laid out with a basket in the middle.

Levi took your hand again, and he led you closer to the blanket and basket. He sat down, and you sat down across from him.

"Wait, let me get this straight. You wanted to go on a date with me?" You questioned, crossing your legs diagonally (or Diagon Alley ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ).

"Yeah, from what Y/F/N told me, you're a really kind and amazing person. And I spent a lot of my time trying to find a person like that." Levi began, "So, tell me more about yourself."

You fiddled with the hem of the blanket whilst you told him about your hobbies, you favorite things, and your passion. Levi did the same but you already knew everything about him, though you listened anyway.

You two were both talking until you realized that you didn't open the picnic basket yet, and when you did, you saw lots and lots of food.

"Who made all of this?" You wondered. There were sandwiches, chips, cupcakes, fruits like strawberries bananas and grapes, and drinks like water, soda and..juice boxes.

You pulled out a juice box, you ripped off the straw from the side of the juice box, and you stuck the straw in the hole at the top. Y/F/N knew you so well. You had the biggest juice addiction.

You looked over at Levi -whilst you sipped from your straw- biting into his sandwich. You set your juice box down, and you randomly grabbed a cupcake. Without any hesitation, you peeled back the wrapper, and you took a bite.

You were too invested with your cupcake to notice Levi leaning close to your face.

"Whah ur ya doin'? You mumbled, your face full of the cupcake.

"There's some frosting near your lip."

Your eyes darted inside and around the picnic basket, searching for napkins so you could wipe away the frosting. You couldn't find one, so you used you hand.

"Is it gone?"

"Not yet." Levi leaned in closer, raising his hand and wiping away the smudge from the edge of your mouth.

You stared into Levi's eyes, getting lost in his electric-blue orbs, watching him concentrate on wiping away the frosting with his thumb. You muttered a quiet "thanks" when he finished, but Levi didn't move away. He did the opposite, and he moved closer and closer until his lips were pressed against yours.

It took you a few seconds to process what had happened, but when you did, you kissed back immediately. Your mind was racing with billions of thoughts: I can't believe this! What's happening? OMFG! No effing way this is happening, this has to be a dream.

Levi pulled away ever so slowly, scanning your crimson colored face. A grin spread from his ear, to ear. You let out a small laugh.

"What made you do that?" You giggled tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.

"I dunno, it felt right.." Levi said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Was the kiss... enjoyable?" You inquired, hoping that you weren't a bad kisser.

"Yeah, very. I actually want to do it again, if it's okay with you."

"Of course it's okay.." You breathed, this time it was you who leaned in. The kiss lasted longer than the first, and you-

. . .

"Wake up, sleepyhead." Levi chirped, "I made breakfast!"

"Go away! I'm in the middle of a really good dream." You groaned, turning your body so you could lay on your side.

"What were you dreaming about?"

"How we first met... now let me go back to bed."

"Ahh, I remember. Y/F/N set you on a date with me years ago. Do you remember what happened?"

"We were having a picnic, and I was eating a cupcake when you kissed me, now piss off!" You threw a pillow at your husband of ten years.

"All thanks to Y/F/N." Levi said, dodging the pillow you threw at him.

"Yeah, yeah. Thank you, Y/F/N."

You sat up, finally not able to fall asleep again.

"What's for breakfast?" You asked, rubbing your tired eyes.

"Pancakes. (girl child name) and (boy child name) are waiting for you."

"Ok, ok." You placed a soft kiss on your husbands cheek as you made your way to the dining room, to see (G/C/N) and (B/C/N) waiting patiently.

"Good morning, Mommy!" They both greeted, getting up to hug you.

"Good morning!" You replied, kissing them both on their cheeks.

All thanks to Y/F/N...
