This Doesn't Happen To People From Mullingar {A Niall Horan Love Story}

{chapter 2}

"Oh- Uh- Sorry." I panicked and ran out of the room like an idiot. I ran until i got to the end of the hallway near the staircase. I looked out into the sea of people who were inside the familiar family room. Most of the people took the party outside in the backyard. As I was looking into the sea of people, I noticed my friends Emily and Victoria. I hurridly walked to the twins.

"Hey Rosie! So.. did you talk to him?" Asked Victoria slyly. 

"Nope." I said. 

"What happened?!" Asked Emily  

"Lets just say, he had something more important to take care of." I looked down at my shoes feeling quite at embarrassed. I looked up to see Maura, Niall's mom, and Niall coming straight towards where we were standing.

"Hello ladies!" Said Maura happily (like she always was). 

"Hey Maura!" Emily, Victoria and I said in unison. 

"...Hi." Said Niall said while looking down at the floor. How weird... Niall was never like this.. His gaze from the floor went straight to me. He looked at me with wide eyes. "Rose?" 

"The one and only!.." I said with a slight giggle. 

"Wow.. I can't believe it's... you. Long time, no see." He said with a little laugh. 

"Eh-hum!" Said Victoria and Emily in unison. 

Niall's gaze then went to the two twins. "Hey, twinies! (Niall's nickname for Emily and Victoria) 

"Ha, hey Niall!" 

Suddenly there were screams. 

"Well, it looks like my lads are here, you guys want to meet him?" Asked Niall with a small smile on his face. 

"OHMYGOSH! YES!" Said Victoria and Emily in unison. 

"Why not?!" I said with a giggle and a smile. 

"Alright, lets go!" 

Niall led us to his family dining room where we see 4 boys sitting down at the dining room table - One Direction. 

"Girlies, (Niall's other nickname for me, Victoria, and Emily) this is (while pointing) Zayn, Louis, Harry, and last but not least Liam!" 

"Niall, you never told us you had such pretty friends." Said Harry while taking my hand and planting a sweet kiss on it. 

"NIce to meet you too.." I said while giving a small laugh. 

"Wow Harry, you don't even know her name, and you're already giving her your attention." Said Liam with a small laugh. 

"Well, I'm Rose, but you can call me Rosie, and these are the twinies, Emily and Victoria," I said. 

"Hi! Huge fan of your music!" Said Victoria. 

"Aw, thanks love!" Said Liam. I could see Victoria starting to blush at the corner of my eye. 

"Why don't you guys get to know eachother and I think me and Rosie are gonna talk." Said Niall while looking at me. 

"Oh, uhm ok?" I said suprised. 

As we were leaving, somebody grabbed my hand. I turned around to see it was Harry. 

"I would love to get to know you better later." He said while he planted a sweet kiss on my cheek.  

I had to admit, he was pretty cute. "Oh, uh sure." I said while giving him a sweet smile. I could see Niall rolling his eyes at the corner of my eye.

Niall led me up to his room where we can catch up on things. 

"I really missed you here!" I said.

"I missed you too rosie."

"Why did you stop texting me and calling me Horan?" I said with a smile.

"Sorry love, i got a little busy with the band and fans, but i promise you that won't happen again." Niall said as he grabbed my hands and intertwined his fingers.

Uhm.. what is he doing?

"Oh, uhm ok."

"But enough about me, How have you been?"

"Ok, I guess... kinda different without you around here." I said with a smile smile.

"Mmmm is that so?" Niall said as he go closer to me. The smell of alcohol was lingering around him. In one quick swoop, he crashed his lips to mine. I quickly went back and stared at him. His blue orbs that were his eyes gave a confused look.

"I- I have to go." I quickly got up fast from the bed and ran down the hallway to the staircase. Down the staircase going through the front door, running, and not looking back.
