This Doesn't Happen To People From Mullingar {A Niall Horan Love Story}

{chapter 4}

We each jumped into the shower and got ready. I was absoloutley super-duper excited to be actually be out and doing something, but i'm also nervous to see Niall. Lets just hope things don't turn out so awkward...

As i finished putting on my favorite perfume, I got a text message.

From Nialler:

Were waiting!!!!....

Me:

Hold ur horses horan! We'll be there in a bit!

"Time to go!" I yelled

"We were waiting on you but ok..." Said Victoria

Me, Emily, and Victoria all piled into my red mini cooper and jetted off to Albivis. As I was pulling into the parking lot, someone ran in front of me.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" I yelled as I go out of the car.

"SUPRISE!" Said Harry.

"STYLES I COULD HAVE KILLED WHAT THE HELL?!"

"Sorry love, but me and Zayn thought it would be funny."

"IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN FUNNY IF SHE HIT NOW WOULD IT?" Said Emily as she slipped out the front seat.

"Well, I'm going to go park the car now, you guys better not pull anything else on me, alright?" I said as I slipped into the drivers seat.

"Yes mother.." Said Harry as he pulled one of his world famous smirks. Wow that hit deep.

After I parked the car, me and Victoria entered the nice italian resturant. Emily was already in the resturant flirting it up with Zayn.

"Over here!" Yelled Liam trying to get our attention to go over to the table.

There were only two seats left. One by Liam, and One by Niall. Oh boy this should be interesting. Of course I gave the seat next to LIam So that just left the seat Next to Niall. Please don't make things awkward.

I slipped into the seat next to ease. I noticed he was looking at me, so I flashed a grin.

"Hey Niall." I said.

"Hey there Rosie."

I then turned awkwardly the other way to see who was next to me. It was Louis.

"I don't believe we've really met each other properly. I'm Louis!" He said as he held out his hand for me to shake.

"I'm Rose, but you can call me Rosie if you'd like." I said while shaking his hand and flashing him a grin.

"Rosie! And... Niall, is that you?!" I recognized that voice anywhere. It was Vincent, the restaurant owner.

"Yea Vin, it's me!" Said Niall

"Jesus Christ, you two have grown so much. I missed seeing you and Rosie here together. Remember when you two would always come here on Fridays to come and eat together?! Man you guys were so cute together." Said Vincent in his little Italian accent.

"Yeah.. I sure do miss those days." Said Niall as he put an arm around me and gave me little hug.

"Wait... are you guys finally... DATING?!" Said Vincent.

"NO." We both said in unison. By now Niall and I had grown a bright red from blushing.

"Oh.. too bad. I would of already guessed you guys would be engaged by now if things didn't changed." Said Vincent.

Wait, what would have happened if Niall never auditioned for XFactor? Would we be a couple? Would we be... engaged?!

"Well, I better get going. It was nice to see you Niall. Be sure to come visit me before you leave." Said Vincent while patting Niall's back in a friendly manner.

"Nice to see you too Vincent." Said Niall.

There was then an awkward silence for a couple minutes. I just stared at my shoes the entire time. I felt everyone's eyes looking at both of us.

Harry gave a low whistle, "Wow Niall, were you and Rose that serious?"

I'm pretty sure we were that serious before he left.

"We were really good friends that's all!" Said Niall.

Were.

"Uhm... were?.." I said. Wow, I seriously did not meant to say that..

"Oh, well, Uhm.. I mean are?" He said

"Oh my god, I did not mean to say that.. I'm sorry.."

"it's fine." He said.

We all ate in silence except for a few small conversations popping up here and there. We finished eating and then went to the parking lot.

"Well, thanks for coming guys..."

"No problem!" Said Harry giving me a a grin. Harry always seems to brighten up my mood.

Another awkward silence.

"See you later Rosie." Said Niall leaving to the car the boys came in.

Way to make things not awkward.
