"yes, and add another caramel latte please"
"why so? is it for someone?"
"oh yes. someone i really like."
"he's sick today so he's feeling quite down"

"may i have that friend's name? i want to write a get well soon on his cup!"
"aww, that's sweet, his name is seungmin"
"seungmin? he works here right?"
"yes he usually takes my orders during weekends."
the one behind the counter whispered.
"sweet..."
"pardon?"
"oh nothing,"
"so, one bubble tea with extra pearls, 30% sugar, and a tiramisu. plus one caramel latte for seungmin,"
"yes that's-"
"ah! seungmin likes our strawberry shortcake, how about you get that for him?"
"he does?"
"i never knew. i'm not very close to him, but we're friends"
hyunjin mumbled
"so is that all?"
"ah yes!"

"seungmin?"
the male shouted, his voice echoing through the halls of the deserted apartment. the others were all at school, getting ready for the carnival due this spring, it is one of the most exciting carnivals in that part of town.
he woke up late that day and thought he might as well stay home to take care of seungmin who was running a flu and a cold, he had just recovered yesterday but still felt light-headed. a small voice echoed in reply to his after awhile
"hyunjin?"
"seungmin!"
hyunjin scampered to seungmin's room to find him wrapped up in blankets that made him look small and tiny. hyunjin internally busted an uwu and walked to seungmin chuckling.
"hyung thanks for taking care of me."
"no problem seung"
"haha that nickname is cute."
"so.. how's your girlfriend doing?"
seungmin asked stuttering the sentence.
"ok.. but i don't feel like talking to her at this moment."
"why?"
"i love her and all but-"
seungmin winced.
"are you ok?"
"yeah."
"get some rest okay?"
"okay"
hyunjin stood up to head out when he felt a tug on his jacket, he turned around to see seungmin sitting upright, looking around, anywhere but hyunjin, he crawled up into a kneeling position and hugged hyunjin into a tight embrace.
"sorry, hyunjin, i just.. i dont know..."
seungmin pulled away embarrassed and guilty, but hyunjin didn't mind. so he pulled him back into the hug.
"if it makes you feel better then i'd gladly hug you for the whole day."
seungmin smiled to himself, he was lucky to have hyunjin right beside him. he missed warm hugs
