Chapter 23; Hey gorgeous

Mia's POV

I woke up, got dressed.

Chloe and I went out and got lunch just before. We walked and talked. Then shopped for a bit.

"Can you believe there's still one more party." Chloe laughed.

"Gosh, how many are there.. When is it?"

"It's in two days."

I guess there's just one more before we get off the cruise.

"Do you have anything to wear?" She asked me.

"Yeah, do you?"

"I think... I have too many actually."

I laughed. "Only you Chloe."

"Do you know Chloe's favourite flower?" Luke asked.

Chloe went to quickly get something at the shops real quick. I'm here in their room with Finn and Luke.

I was sitting back in a chair at the table. Luke and Finn sat on a couch each.

I thought about what Luke asked me. "I think she's always loved roses. Why?"

He shrugged. "Thought I'd get some."

"Aww that's so cute Luke." I smiled.

I started to notice that Finn kept looking at me when he thinks I don't know. He hasn't said a word either and I'm starting to think I've done something.

"Shut up."

Finn laughed a bit.

I got a text from Chloe.

Chloe - Can you meet up with me? I'm at the shopping centre.

Me - Yeah sure, I'm on my way

"I'm going." I said getting up.

"Where?" Luke asked turning his head to me.

"Chloe wants me."

"Okay."

As I reached for the door, the fear of running into Tommy came into my head. I looked behind me and saw Finn looking at me. I knew he was thinking the same thing.

I stepped out and stopped outside the door. I just stood there.

I'm scared. He could be around here anywhere. I can't believe it's actually gotten to this point. I'm too scared to walk out of the room without knowing Tommy could be out looking for me, or Finn. What happened in that room, I will never forget. If Finn didn't come, I don't even know what would have happened.

But I got myself to move, and I started walking down the hallway.

I wonder what Chloe needs. So I texted her.

Me - Whereabouts are you?"

After walking for a bit, I head that one voice I wish I hadn't. I went stiff.

"Hey gorgeous, what are you doing walking here by yourself?" That sly and arrogant tone in his voice.

I turned around and saw him just standing there but I kept walking towards the shopping centre.

"What do you think your doing?" He asked getting angrier. I heard him approaching me.

Without turning around or replying, I kept walking. Then he grabbed my hand firmly. "Get off me." I said through gritted teeth.

"What would you do if I said no?"

Smartass.

"I would do this," I said punching him with my other arm. "And this." I kicked him in the stomach. "And this." I said lastly slapping him.

I pulled away from him and continued walking faster. But then, my whole body was slammed against the wall. Tommy put his hand over my neck choking me.

He looked around him to see if people were anywhere to be seen, and he was lucky.
I wasn't though.

I saw him pull something out of his pocket. It was a small pocket knife.

Holy shit holy shit holy shit.

He held it up to my neck then raised it to my cheek.
I felt him slide the knife on my jawline and cut deep into my skin. I squinted at the pain but tried my best to get him off me, but he kept pushing me against the wall.

I was too focused on the knife, when I didn't even see the person who punched Tommy. His head was thrown to the side, he kept his grip on my neck.

Soon it got harder to breathe. I tried pushing him away but he was too strong.

I looked beside me and saw who it was.

Finn.

My stomach flipped at the sight of him.

He grabbed hold of Tommy's neck and pushed him against the wall beside me. That left me to catch my breath.

I put my hand to my neck and could feel the pain from where he was choking me. Then I felt blood dripping down from my cut. I quickly put my hand to my jawline.

Finn threw a few punches at Tommy, but he got them back. So he punched him twice more and saw that Tommy had a blood nose. Finn punched him once more before shoving him away.

Tommy walked away smirking.

Finn turned and walked up to me. "Mia, are you alright, what happened?"

I looked at him and just how perfect he is. Just him. The way he comes in to protect and save me. He knew that he had to come after me.

I cleared my throat, getting out of my thoughts. "He, um, he just cut me." I said still holding the cut.

So we ended up going back to my room.

I texted Chloe that I was doing something for a minute. She said she'd wait.

We were in the bathroom.
"I don't know what I would do if you hadn't have keep coming to save me all these times."

Finn wet a tissue and came over to me. "Guess I've been in the right places at all the right times." He stepped closer. Finn placed his hand on the side of my neck and gently tiled my head up so he could clean my cut.

A shock of butterflies came into my stomach. How can one touch literally drive me crazy inside? He will never really know the feelings I get when he's around.

I looked at him and he looked back for a few seconds before he dabbed the tissue on the cut.

I shut my eyes tightly as I felt the pain.

"I'm sorry." He said taking it off.

I opened my eyes. "No, no. It's okay."

Talking to him somehow felt so different. I wonder if he notices as well.

Chloe ended up just wanting to clothe shop. So it wasn't really worth the rush to her after that thing happened with Tommy.

A part of me can't wait to get off this ship. But the other part never wants to leave.
