Chapter 10; I'm getting food

Mia's POV

Later that day me and Chloe chilled in her bedroom. While the boys kept playing Fortnite. After our game, the three of us, me Finn and Luke won a game of squads. Yeah, we played another game after Chloe quit and gave up.

I am soooo dumb. Like why didn't I think to bring my Xbox? We could have played squads! Like me and Chloe in my room, and the boys in theirs.

That would be so cool.

But oh well...

Our mums got home a while ago, so their in my room doing whatever.

Chloe's phone went off as we lied on her bed. She smiled as she saw who the text was from.

"Luke?" I asked, not surprised if it was him who was texting her.

She just smiled even more as she typed away. "He wants to go out somewhere later with me."

I turned my phone off. "Awww you guys are so cute." I said smirking.

Yeah, I guess I do sometimes get jealous of my friends that get into relationships. Like our group of friends at School all have their 'soulmates.' I've always been that one who hasn't found theirs.

So yeah. It does get a bit lonely sometimes when our groups 'boyfriends' start to come sit with us at lunchtimes in the cafeteria at school.

I guess it was just me and Chloe then, but looks like now it's just me that's the loner...

In our group there are two other girls. Casey and Summer. They're are both really nice, and we met them in our second year at high school, in year 8. So two years later, were all still friends.

Casey is more like me. She has brown hair, and isn't as loud as Chloe usually is. But Summer is different, she has black hair and is kinda a tom-boy. I love our little group though.

But yeah, we're always catching up, but Chloe and I have always been the closest.

"Luke is saying that we should all go somewhere." Chloe said reading out what Luke texted her.

It sounded like they stopped playing Fortnite, because I couldn't hear anymore gunshots coming from the lounge.

She looked down to her phone.

"Come on." Luke opened our door and scared the shut out of us. Like it was a really loud entrance for someone who just opened the door. It was so sudden.

"Shit Luke." Chloe threw a pillow at him while holding her hand to her chest, slowly sliding off the bed onto the ground.

He just laughed. "Lets go." He said holding his hand out to help her up.

Chloe took it and we all walked out to leave.

Wasn't that just so cute?!
