Chapter 3

Mia's POV

After we've cut cake and had a little fun I went over to Ariel whom invited my grandparents also.
"Oh Ariel. This is for you. Happy sweet 16." I told her handing a gift. My grandad bought it, I told him what to get and he brought it.
"Wow, thank you so much it's beautiful." She said. The gift was a Ariel the mermaid teddy bear and a story I based on Ariel I know she'll love.
"Your welcome." I said.
After I came in her grandparents I am guessing looks at me amazed. Then I heard their whisper.
"It's her Princess Miana." My grandparents and hers introduce their selves and soon I felt sleepy. It was 11:55. Time passes so fast.
"I'm sleepy. Say wanna have an sleepover. You can sleep in my room." Ariel offered.
"Thanks." I told my grandparents and they agreed. Me and Ariel walked upstairs went into her room.

Author's POV.

After Ariel and Mia walked upstairs their grandparents sat and chat in the living room.
"Why didn't you tell them?" Grandpa Henry asked.
"Because it's only a few more minutes until the portal opens and all of us are back in Storybook the land of Fairytale Stories." Grandma Tia said.
"Yes it's true but they'll get lost. They are going to be separated from us." Grandpa Harry said.
"What do you mean? The prophecy said 'on the twins 16th birthday they shall be reunited with there love ones' that's what Merlin said." Grandpa Henry said.
"I'm afraid you've both mistaken. The Merlin's prophecy did say that but me and Tia translated the actual meaning that says that they'll be test to find their way out of the Enchanted Forest, then through Neverland, through the underworld and lastly reach there in Storybook Town, then they make their choices whether to stay or to leave." Grandma Bella said.

12:00- midnight.

The ground started shaking up like an earthquake.
"Ariel? What's that?" Mia asked looking at a scared Ariel.
"I don't know. What's that glowing thing in my cupboard?" Ariel asked.
"Grandma! Grandpa!" Mia yelled.
Then as soon as Ariel got up and opened her cupboard she got pulled in forcefully. And so did Mia.
"Arhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!" They both yelled and soon they both fell onto the ground.
They woke up like an dream and held their heads.
They landed in the middle of a forest. Only trees and bushes surrounding them.
"Mia?" Ariel called.
"Ariel? Are you okay?" Mia asked.
"Yeah I'm fine how about you?" Ariel asked.
"I'm fine but where the heck are we? Are we dreaming the same thing?" Mia asked.
"Well lets see if it's reality." Ariel said. She reached and pick up a piece of stick and broke a piece of splinter and pushed it against her hand.
"Ouch!!" She yelled out.
"Yup this is real alright." Mia said.
"If it is then where are we?" Ariel asked.
"Let's go and look around." Mia suggested getting up and helping Ariel up.
"So which way?" Ariel asked looking around her. The place was start to get dark.
"I..I don't know." Mia said.
"Which side do we go? I mean obviously we can't split up." Mia
asked.
Ariel looked up in the sky in frustration and saw the north star. Then she remembered something.
"I have an idea. Remember that I told you about a poem?" Ariel asked.
"How's the rainbow colours gonna help us?" Mia asked.
"No not that one. The one with the North Star?" She asked back.
"If you're ever lost deep,
Someone always peep,
From earth to sky,
Even if you're about to die,
There's nothing to pay,
For the North Star points the way." Mia recited.
"So if we follow the North Star it'll help us out." Ariel said.
"You sure that's gonna work?" Mia asked.
"Well if you have an better idea speak up now." Ariel said.
Mia signed. "Okay fine, it's not like there's any better idea." Mia said.
"Okay so let's go." They followed the North Star, they've been walking silently for half an hour now.
"Ugh... seems like we've been walking forever! How can you see where you're going in this dark?" Mia spoke out tiredly.
"Relax...look there is light!" Ariel said loudly.
Ariel grabbed Mia's hand and pulled her with herself.
As they reached the end by the lights they were tired of all the walking and running.
"Don't move! Intruders!" Someone with an axe and a beard whom looks really grumpy yelled. There were 7 of them gathered around Ariel and Mia.
"Who is it?" A women with long straight black hair in a cream white colour gown, white as snow with an bow and arrow on her back asked. A man with a side botton light brown shirt, dark brown pants and shoes with black hair also, almost as fair as the lady and an bow and arrow in his back also came after the lady.
"Your majesty they're intruders sent in by the Evil Queen!" Another guy said.
"No we're not! We're from San Francisco. Both of us!" Ariel said scared.
"How do we know you're not lieing?" The man spoke.
"Because I'm sure whoever the Evil Queen is she wouldn't want to attack you guys for whatever reason in the middle of the night would she?" Mia asked.
"Yes she would." They said in unison.
"Oh. She's a mean person aren't she." Mia said.
"Wait you said Evil Queen? Where the hell are we?" Ariel asked.
"You don't know where you are?" The man asked.
"She just made that clear Charming." Mia said.
"Mia!" Ariel whispered and elbowed Mia.
"How do you know my name?" The man asked.
"Wait Charming is your name? I just said that as an joke." Mia said apologetically.
"Leave them." The women said and the 7 guys walked back to an cottage that only now was recognized by Mia and Ariel?
"I'm sorry. I'm Princess Snow White and this is Prince Charming." The women said.
"I'm not even gonna ask. Can you tell us where we are?" Ariel asked politely.
"You're in the Enchanted Forest." Snow White said.
Ariel and Mia gasp.
"We're in a storybook? Anyways we need help getting back to..our home in San Francisco, can you help us?" Ariel asked.
"No but we know someone who can get you back." Prince Charming said.
"Okay thank you. But we need to get back as soon as possible. Our grandparents must be worried." Ariel said.
"We shall leave tomorrow. For now you can stay in our cottage until sunrise." Snow White offered.
"No way I'm staying in this crazy place for another hour." Mia said.
"Mia they are willing to help us we should at least be thankful they aren't gonna murder us." Ariel said earning an offended look from Prince Charming and Snow White.
"No offense." Ariel said apologetically.
"Fine. But I'm leaving as the sun rises." Mia said.
"Okay this way." Snow White said.
