Chapter 2

Ariel's POV.

I woke up 7 a.m today for my birthday. I'm so excited.
"I wish I to have pancakes and blueberry muffins for breakfast and a cup of chocolate tea." I said to myself. I quickly got up and hit the bathroom. I brush my teeth and showered then put on a summer dress since summer is starting in a few days. Which means only a few more days for school then summer vacation. Yay!
I finished readying and raced downstairs to see what's for breakfast.
"Good morning grandma, good morning grandpa!" I said excitedly.
"Good morning Princess Ariela." My grandpa called me. Weird.
"Princess Ariela?" I asked.
"Yeah. Ariel is short for Ariela." He said and grandma shot him a very serious look.
"She is going to find out later." Grandpa said.
"Find out what?" I asked.
"Nothing dear. Anyways I made you pancakes, blueberry muffins and chocolate tea for breakfast." She said excitedly.
"Wow, my wish actual came through. I wished for that exact same thing this morning and now I got it!" I exclaimed excitedly. The why am I so excited? Who cares it's my birthday!
"See that's just the beginning." Grandpa said excitingly.
"Okay well thank you for the breakfast." I quickly dug in the pancakes.

Mia's POV.

This is probably a coincidence. I wished for pancakes and blueberry muffins with chocolate tea and boom..grandma made that for me.
"So you invited anyone for your sweet 16 this evening Princess Miana?" Grandpa asked and I shot him a confuses look while grandma shot him a very stern serious look.
"What I'd do?" He ask innocently.
"Wait until this evening." She said. I quickly finished breakfast and made my way out.
"Good morning Ariel!" I yelled from a little far distance.

Ariel's POV.

"Good morning Ariel!" I heard Mia yelled a little far distance from me.
"Oh! Good morning Mia!" I responded. She quickly meet up with me.
"Happy birthday!" She told me.
"Thanks! Happy birthday to you to!" I said and hugged her.
"Thanks! Say you had blueberry muffins this morning didn't you?" She asked.
"I was about to ask you the exact same question. And yeah I did. You?" I asked back.
"Yeah I did. Also I had pancakes." She said.
"Me to and chocolate tea." I told her.
"Same. I also had that!" She replied.
"Nice. Its weird because I wished for that this morning and I actual got it." I said.
"You're not going to believe but so did I." She said.
"No kidding!" I said. We both laughed.
"We should be sisters!" Mia said.
"Yeah.I honestly haven't felt so close to someone before." I said.
"Me to." Then we've reached to school.
We walked into the hallway talking when I accidentally bumped into some girl who was putting on lipstick and it got smudge.
"Ugh! Can't you idiot see where you're going! Oh it's you that girl who always carry around that fairytales book." She said wiping her lip with a napkin. She is Nikki the schools most popular girl. She is like an bully.
"I'm sorry." Is all I said and was about to walk away with Mia when Nikki pulled me back grabbing my hands hard.
"Not so fast nerd. Sorry won't do at all." She was about to grabbed my book when Mia grabbed her hands and shoved in back making her fall back and landed on the floor.
"Oops." Mia said innocently and she grabbed my hands gently and pulled me away.
"Should be more careful on who you pick on next time." Mia said and we both laughed. By now everyone was applauding because someone has finally stood up against Nikki.
When me and Mia was a far distance away from everyone else I spoke up.
"You were brave. Aren't you scared she'll get you back?" I asked.
"Nope. But yeah I still can't believe I just did that!" She squeal.
"Ha. Well let's go classes starts in 2 minutes. I have chemistry first how about you?" I asked.
"I have Maths. Hey don't we both have Literature together last period?" She asked.
"Yeah we do." I replied and we both went to out classes.
The day went on pretty fast, me and Mia had like 2 classes together today and we met at the usual place lunch time. After the canteen we went to the library. And now it's finally last period.
I walked in and spot an empty seat as I was about to go and sit someone reached before me. I searched through the classroom for an empty seat.
"Hey Ariel! Over here!" I heard Mia's voice and soon I spot her. I walked over to her where she kept an seat for me.
"Hey thanks." I said.
"No problem. So you did your homework?" She asked.
"Yeah you?" I asked back.
"Yeah I did. I got a little trouble mid way through the essay. I did Snow White. How about you?" She asked.
"I did the same." I told her.
"I got trouble in the end. I didn't know how to end it until something just pop up in my head." I told her. Our topic in literature is about every student has to choose between Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Little Red Riding Hood or Pinocchio.
"Good afternoon class." Miss Betty came in.
"Good afternoon miss Betty." The class respond in unison.
"Okay. So everyone did their homeworks right?" She asked.
"Yes Miss Betty." The class said in unison again.
At the end of school me and Mia walked home.
"So I'll go home get change and then come across okay." I said.
"Okay cool." She said.

Few hours later.

After I've reached home I told grandma and grandpa and they agreed about the arrangements. I put on a black tight geans and a black strap up top and my flats. I did light make-up and went to her birthday.
I walk up and knock on her door.
"Hey Ariel." Mia said. She had on blue black tight geans and a blue black strap up top and black flats. Similar to mines.
"You look amazing." I said.
"So do you." She said. I handed her the gift I bought for her when I came from school I told Grandpa and he went out and bought it. Since she likes Snow White so much I bought her a snow white teddy bear with a book based on snow white alone.
"Awe..it's adorable. Thank you Ariel." She said hugging me.
As I walked in her grandparents I guess couldn't take their eyes off me.
"Ariel this is grandpa Harry and grandma Tia. Grandma, grandpa, this is Ariel. The girl whom I told you about." Mia introduce.
"Nice to meet you Princess Ariela...I mean Ariel." Mia's parents said.
"Okay nice to meet you to." I said.
"Well let's start!" Mia said excitedly.
"That's Princess Ariela. The daughter of.." I was cut shaken by Mia.
"Ariel?" She called.
I overheard her grandparents whispered something while I followed Mia.
"Oh yeah." I said and followed her.
