Ambersong paced worryingly around the pool that gazed down onto LightningClan. Their new leader, Sootstar, was no good. An evil tom with no desire other than to feel powerful and control others. Upon coming to StarClan, she learned that he had been training with the Dark Forest ever since he became an apprentice.

Stonestar was dead now as well, he had been overpowered by a group of rogues. However, after watching his death, he didn't appear in the StarClan welcoming meadow. That was when she pieced together that Stonestar never truly left the behaviors of NightClan and helped Sootstar become leader. Stonestar had a slightly softer heart than Sootstar so he wasn't fit for the job.

Mudsplash appeared beside her, "They haven't had a perfectly good leader since Crowstar. Even Nettlestar had a mental breakdown before he died."

"I have been observing them," Gorsestorm appeared as well. "The only other cat I see fit for leadership is Featherwing."

"Yes, yes," Mudsplash agreed. "She would be good."

"Even Snowberry as well," Ambersong suggested.

Hawkstar, the leader before Crowstar, walked beside them, "Featherwing would be better. Snowberry would rely too much on other cat's decisions, while Featherwing would be able to make more on her own. LightningClan hasn't had a female leader in a long time."

"I've been alive since the beginning of your reign, Hawkstar," Yang purred. Yin was sitting beside him. And behind them, Embertuft and Woodfeather, their parents.

"The leader before me was Skystar. A great leader that sadly fell to greencough at the end of his last life. And before Skystar, I believe was Cedarstar. I do not remember past that."

"Yes, LightningClan needs a female leader," Ambersong agreed.

"Hopefully, they'll survive long enough to have one," Mudsplash worried.
