Fact No. 1
He’s got a brother, no, I don’t mean Chris, everybody knows that but there is a third Hemsworth brother called Luke, he’s a little older and was actually the first of the bunch to act with roles on Australian TV.
He was probably the inspiration for Liam and Chris.
Fact No. 2
Liam and Chris used to live and sleep together before Chris became a Hollywood God – Thor.
There’s nothing like a bit of brotherly love to help each other through the tough times and homesickness.
Fact No. 3
Liam once threw a knife at Chris . . . yes, really. Apparently they used to fight a lot as youngsters and once, when he was about 8 years old he threw a knife at Chris but fortunately it was the handle which hit his head.
Their Mum once broke a finger trying to split up the little monsters!
Fact No. 4
Liam has had a few close encounters of the shark kind. Like many Australians he’s been surfing from a very young age and has had more than a couple of shark run-ins.
However, he’s still here and luckily he’s still got everything he is supposed to have.
Fact No. 5
He’s obsessed with squirrels. I know, it sounds crazy but apparently they don’t have squirrels in Australia although to be honest that’s not something which has ever occurred to me, but he’s from Australia so he should know.
Anyway the first time he saw a squirrel he was over the moon.
Fact No. 6
Speaking of home, Liam and Co. grew up in a very small island community within a working class family.
His hometown had only 7,000 inhabitants and that’s really small.

Last but not least, here’s a list of the jobs Liam did before making it big time. He worked in a bakery, at a bowling alley and on construction sites doing various jobs. He was even a park ranger at a penguin exhibition – I bet you didn’t know that.
