Josephine laid on the ground pondering all that she had put herself through in the last two years.

She was very addled (confused) Vulcan had her under the impression that vampires and gods could not procreate.

But the very harsh pains in her lower abdomen proved that to be untrue. She feared giving birth in the middle of an
alley way.

After Vulcan left her she had no one and nothing to turn to. Being the God of Fire, he felt like he could not be associated with a vampire and implored her to keep the child a secret.

With blood running down her legs, staining the rag dress she wore, she managed to pull herself up and walk herself towards Queen Victoria's castle.

On the short walk there, she remembered she hadn't fed in a while. Hoping to save her child, she found an unsuspecting homeless person.

He was watching the graveled pathway and saw her coming. When he saw her elongated fangs, he jumped up and began running in the opposite direction.

With lightning speed she grabbed him from behind and stuck her fangs into his neck. She felt his vain burst and the first drop of blood to hit her mouth felt like euphoria.

When she was done draining him, she wiped her mouth off and shoved him into a near by trash can.

When walking towards the castle she noticed the pain was still plaguing her, but she was no longer bleeding.

She fiddled with the bauble (showy jewelery) that she had worn around her neck. She had made previous plans to hide the runestone that she knew would come in handy for her future child.

Someone was kidnapping, defanging, and selling vampires into sex slavery. The runestone was the only thing that would be able to kill the person in charge.

One of Josephine's friends had told her that they believed the leader had sold their soul to the devil.

Even though vampires had to occasionally kill a human, did not mean they were bad. Josephine believed it was actually good population control. She had never once killed a child.

She reached the door of the castle just as another contraction hit. She looked at the chestnut door with gold embellishments and raised her hand to knock.

When the door opened a man who appeared to be a butler ushered her inside.

"Queen Victoria, this young lady seeks your help." He told the woman on the throne.

Josephine looked up at her. She was rather regal looking. Her purple peplum dress with ruffled sleeves was worth ten times more than Josephine's dress.

"What seems to be the problem child?" She asked with perfect vocabulary.

" I am a vampire and I am pregnant with the child of a god. His name is Vulcan. He left me to raise this child alone, on my way to my home I began having abdominal pains and blood was pouring down my legs. I was not near a hospital, I figured you could help me deliver my child, your majesty." Josephine said in one rush of a breath. She was holding her stomach waiting for the Queen's reply.

"Bram bring her to my bed chamber and bring a hot tub of water," she directed to the butler.

"Yes Your Highness." Bram took Josephine by the arm and lead her to the bed chamber.

Josephine was in so much pain she didn't even bother looking around the room.

The Queen came in and proceeded to tell her to push. She cried and sweat beaded down her face as she pushed as hard as she could.

Finally The Queen saw the head of a child, she told Josephine to push once more. When she did the child came out and unfortunately her son was still born.

While Jospehine was crying, Queen Victoria handed the child to Bram and told him to give him a proper burial.

"What do you want to name him Josephine?"

Josephine stopped crying long enough to look at Bram and told him she wanted to name him William.

Then she felt another contraction.

"Miss Josephine I believe you were pregnant with twins, I'm going to need you to push one more time," Queen Victoria said to Josephine.

Josephine nodded and began to push once more. When it was over The Queen was holding a crying, healthy baby girl.

Josephine knew she did not have much time left, birthing the twins had weakened her.

"Your Majesty, I do not have much time left will you please take Adelaide and raise her as your child?"

"Of course I will child."

And with that Josephine died with Adelaide in her arms expecting to see William on the other side but that was not the case.

After they had successfully buried Josephine, Victoria and Bram went into their cellar where they kept all of their captive vampires.

They all hissed at her once she came in.

"You fools don't you realize your kind will be extinvt by the time I get done with you!" She yelled back at him.

"Lucifer get over here and give William your blood." Victoria yelled at Bram (Lucifer)

"You do realize I was the one to give you the power that you have right now, that is no way to speak to the devil." He snarked at her.

He went over to William's lifeless body and began pouring his blood into the child's mouth.

Right before their eyes William began to cry like a normal baby. He was now part vampire, part demon and would likely grow up to be evil.

Victoria laughed and looked at Lucifer," William will be entered into the slavery and sold to the highest bidder."

Lucifer looked at Adailade and said "What about her?"

Victoria looked at the squirming child in her hands. Her piercing blue eyes stared back at Victoria. In her hands Victoria held the child of a God.

"Adelaide, say hello to mama," she said as her smile grew wider.
