Annabel's POV

"Mistress Anna, wake up! It is the first of September!" squeaked a perky voice from above me. The first of September? What is so special about the first of September? Oh, I remember! Hogwarts! School! My eyes shot open, but instead of seeing my plain white ceiling, I saw two, large eyes staring into my soul. Alright, that is a bit dramatic, but that did not stop the shriek from exscaping my lips.

"Dobby! I thought I told you not to do that! You gave me a fright!" I said, slightly releived that it was just the house elf and not some murderer. Dobby usually awakens me when my father is out. I guess he left early for Hogwarts.

"I am truly sorry, Mistress Anna! If Mistress Anna wishes to punish-"

"No, Dobby. Remember, we will not punish you." I say to him. I felt bad for the poor creature. He was treated terribly by the Malfoys. But, he is such a kind elf, I can't even imagine someone wanting to harm him.

"Oh, of course Mistress Anna," he said as he jumped to his knees and down in an all-out bow. Then, he quickly got back to his feet and continued, "Well, I 'll leave Mistress Anna to get dressed and packed. Master Dumbledore left the previous night, so Dobby will be bringing Mistress Anna to King's Cross Station," And with that, he scurried out the door.

I chuckled at the adorable house elf as I removed myself from my very comfortable bed. I slumped towards my closet to find something to wear today. After I changed into my outfit, I started packing- which took about a half hour since I had done most of it the night before. As I made sure I wasn't forgetting anything, I got hungry so I exited my bedroom and headed down for some breakfast. About half way down the steps, I caught a wiff of crispy bacon and scrambled eggs. I just love it when the Hogwarts house-elfs cook! As I go tto the dining room, the smell enhanced, and I became even more hungry.

"Hello, Mistress Annabel!" chanted a group of house-elfs. I smiled at their kindness, and the many delectable food items laid out in front of me. Not only were there bacon and eggs, but I also saw OJ, toast, bagels, and red velvet pancakes (my favorite!). It was all mouthwatering!

"You guys are the best!" I squeal, then gorged myself with pancakes.

"Are you ready to leave Misrtress Anna?" Dobby asked from the door frame of my bedroom. I was currently feeding Aphrodite. Aphrodite is my fluffy white cat (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QzR-0ShmJ48/T-JgKAlcQVI/AAAAAAAAAvg/4SCTMuOwEy8/s1600/white_cat.png). She i so adorable! My dad got her for me when we went Hogwarts shopping for the first time. She was one of the new arrivals, so she was still a kitten when I got her. It was love at first sight.

"Yes, Dobby," I replied. He came the rest of the way into my room and I hugged Aphrodite closer to me. "Let's go!" I chanted excitedly. Dobby snapped his fingers and my trunks were lifted into the air. I smiled and grabbed Dobby's other hand.

I, personally, hate apperation! But, it is the fastest way to get to King's Cross. As soon as I had a hold of the elf's wrist, everything turned black. It felt as if I was being stretched every-which-way and like there were huge metal bands, tightening around my chest every time I tried to inhale. It was so hard to breathe!
