Mary and Rosila were still there, panicking, watching as the zombies were getting closer to them. The stairs had disappeared. It sure was over, Rosila couldn't help but cry.

"I'm sorry Mary." Rosila cried, she didn't want to loose her life.

"For what?" Mary asked, acting cool.

"For everything, the disrespect and mock."

Mary gave a little smile and seized it. She would have loved this moment if they weren't about to die. There they were, stuck at the middle of nowhere. They didn't even know where they were.

They wondered where they were. If they were still in that same spot they stood in before they entered the mansion, why didn't Brenetta lead the cops there. It was no use to escape, the zombies were everywhere.

"We're not dying." Mary whispered.

Rosila laughed stupidly. Mary was confused, what was funny. She had just said they weren't dying. Rosila had gone mad. Mary understood Rosila's condition, she alone had caused everything they were suffering now.

"Rubbish! We're very close to death and you still can't see it." She whispered back.

"If we die, I'm responsible for it." Mary yelled.

"Nonsense! Why would they blame a dead girl?"

Why is she overreacting? Mary thought. She hated when she had lost it. Rosila and Jessie had taken it from their mother. Always overreacting. Mary hated her family for this.

"I have an idea." Said Mary, staring at nothing as usual.

"Does it include death?"

"Rosila! Why do you always have to ruin my plan?"

It was true, every time Mary actually had a good plan, Rosila would discourage her. Her plan was perfect this time, the house had openings in their ceilings and there was a ladder close to one they could just push the ladder closer and escape.

"I don't! You just behave stupid, that's all! Why would you think we can get away?" Rosila shot back.

Mary couldn't believe her ears. This wasn't the right moment to argue, but to give up? Mary stared unbelievably at Rosila. Even Brenetta would never give up like this, what happened to her sister?

"Excuse me?" Mary shouted.

"We're doomed! You're escape would be useless!" Rosila shouted back.

"Then don't leave with me, stay here and rotten!"

And with that, she went to the ladder and began to climb. Her sister, tears trickled down her eyes. It was her sister over there, looking foolishly, agreeing to die. She was going to save herself first.

"Rosila." She mummered to herself.

She couldn't bare to look. The zombies got closer to Rosila. It was over, maybe she was destined to die like die like this. She finally escaped, she sat on the roof and looked down. What did she mean by 'useless escape?' She thought.

She smiled and looked up. She had to focus and watch out. It was time to focus. Little did she know that Rosila was right, her escape was useless. She thought the worst was below her, but the worst was actually at the front of her.

More and more zombies were gathered at her front, waiting for her to step forward. She stood up and stepped forward, hoping to see happiness instead of sadness. But as soon as she stepped forward, she regretted and wished she had never stepped forward.

"Rosila was right, a useless escape." She mummered to herself.

Her eyes widened as she saw the crazy girl. She gasped as the girl smirked. The zombies were very close to her and down below were other zombies. She was horrified, had she finally met
her doom? Was it over for her? She hated herself for leaving
Rosila down there.

"I see you fell for my plan." She little girl said, smirking.

Of course! Mary thought. She had intentionally left that ladder
there so that Mary would climb it and think she had gotten away,
meanwhile, her plan had worked perfectly. All she wanted to do
was just to separate them.

"What a smart child." Mary said to herself.

"You really are a foolish sister." Said the little girl.

Mary wanted to argue, but there was no need. She was a fool
and she believed the little girl. She had remembered her mother
warning them to never argue and get separated. She hated her
life.

"Yeah right! Look who's talking." Mary shot back.

Yes, she had ditched her sister down there, but she would still
defend herself against this family killer. Mary was still surprised
this dead girl, who had forced people to be her friend and took it
too far that she killed them and her parents, was still talking.

"I don't blame you. Those are your last words." The little girl said.

"Says who?" Asked Mary.

"Says me and my zombies who push you down this mansion.
Down below is nothing but clouds, enjoy!"

It was true, the mansion was a magical and hunted mansion.
It was flying up, up and up. Mary looked down and saw clouds
everywhere. It was getting foggy. Was it? No, Mary was getting
dizzy.

Her eyes were closing shut, but why? She looked backwards
and saw a zombie piercing her with an injection. Was her life
over? Was this how she was destined to die? It was over, all her
hard work and plan. Just for this useless escape.

"I...can't believe this." Mary stammered.

She remembered her family, at least she would see Rosila too.
Wait! What if Rosila didn't die. She thought. Maybe she had found
a way to escape, or perhaps the cops had found her lying there
and she was rushed to the hospital.

"This is...how it...all ends." She whispered and fell to the ground.
