[Edited] Chapter 10: The Thing With The Sister!

Scott:

I woke up to the sound of someone knocking my door.

I groaned and looked at the clock. It's still two.

I got up unwillingly to open the door and saw it was Nova on the other side, in just her tank top and shorts.

"Hi." She said, smiling nervously.

"Hey." I replied, my voice still husky from sleeping.

Before I could say another word, she walked past me to the bed and lied down.

Um... what just happened?

Is this a dream?

I turned and looked towards the door and then back at her.

I rubbed my eyes and repeated the same.

Okay... definitely not a dream!

During my investigation of dream/reality, Nova got up in a sitting position and asked me, "Coming to bed?"

Top three words, I never imagined she would say.

Nodding, I slowly walked towards the bed and lied down next to her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her close, so that her back was against my chest.

"Night, Ace." She whispered.

"Good night, Brownie!" I whispered back and kissed the back of her head.

I sighed and closed my eyes.

"It's not my fault, you were hugging me and you were all warm and soft like my bed." Her voice from last night in the car echoed in my mind and I smiled to myself.

Damn! I'm turning into a girl!

I woke up to find something warm and small on top of my chest. I opened my eyes to see a pair of blue eyes staring back at me.

Wait! Blue eyes?

I turned my head around to find my favourite pair of brown eyes, looking at me smiling. I looked back at the one on my chest to notice, it was a small baby with blue eyes and black hair and her fingers were in her mouth as she was sucking them.

Is this my baby?

Are we married?
