Mr O, the principle of Westerburg High sits in his office while he waits for Robin Goodfellow, the school's most mischievous student. Robin walks in and immediately sits down in the chair across the desk from Mr O, resting his feet on the edge of the desk.
"What have you done this time?" Mr O asks as he scans through the note Robin's home-group teacher sent him. "Ah, it appears you gave one of your fellow class members a love potion."
"That's right, you should have seen him. Luke was going crazy professing his love for Helen, it was hilarious." Robin gloats.
"Robin, this is your third strike, if you break a school rule again I'm afraid you'll be expelled." Mr O warns. "As for now, I'm giving you detention after school every day for the next three weeks and you will have to remedy what you did."
"Whatever."
"Now go home, your detentions begin tomorrow."
Robin gets up and vacates the room but instead of going home he sneaks through the halls in search of student's who's lives he can meddle with.

A tall, blonde, seventeen-year-old stumbles through the halls. Her school uniform, worn in the most revealing way possible while still following the uniform policy, flaps as she scrambles to reach the girls bathroom. She seeks refuge from the lanky boy who pursues her without fail.
"Helen, you are my reason for living!" He proclaims, falling to his knees as he does so. "You make the sun seem dull, sometimes I just want to hug and squeeze you so tightly that you die from my loving embrace."
"Stop! Stop this spiteful joke, you do nothing but constantly mock me." She responds with a slight sob in her voice, pausing for a second to catch her breath. After being chased through seven corridors and up four stair cases, she is quite exhausted.
"But this isn't a joke, you are so cute I want to throw a rainbow at you. Your eyes are windows into heaven."
"Just leave me alone Luke. You're with Hazel, everyone knows that, so just mind your own business and go."
With that she ducks into the girl's bathroom and then into a cubicle, locking the door behind her. Sitting down on the closed toilet, Helen breaks into tears. This is the seventh time this week that someone has pretended to be interested in her as a joke and she just can't take it anymore. Everyone knows that she's still not over her ex, Dominic, and they love teasing her about how he'll never like her back. The worst part is that Dominic likes her best friend, Hazel. Hazel is the queen bee of Westerburg High, she's always dressed up and always wins spring fling. All the boys go crazy over her, praising her every move and waiting on her hand and foot. Even noticing that Helen is there is practically impossible when she's next to Hazel, she's always outshone. The constant overlooking is starting to get really annoying, Helen just wants to be the center of attention for once in her life.
Helen stays in the bathroom silently sobbing for about two hours before getting up. She throws some water in her face, wipes her eyes, smooths down her clothes and exits the bathroom. She opens the door of the bathroom and walks straight into Luke.
"Have you been waiting here this whole time?" She asks him, feeling uncomfortable.
"Of course, I can't leave you here alone, the school is a scary place after five and I-"
