Chapter 2
A normal day was hard for many, quite a few comrades of mine dropped out quite early in training but not me. I will work hard and I will clear my family's name not for my parents but for me. I need to be strong for me and my future.
Over time I got faster, smarter, and stronger. Training got faster as we reached the third day. The trainee commander didn't like me much not because of me but for my last name even though I have no idea why. He would make me run laps to the point I could run a marathon in my sleep. Right now we are in the second year so I am not doing badly. I am actually top of all subjects.
But it's the same thing every day: wake up early, run laps, push-ups, sit-ups, eat and drink tea. Train, skip lunch to continue training, train, eat dinner, shower then finally bed. 'Tch' It seems pretty boring but it's quite fun actually.
Time Skip 2 years later
Today is the day we choose and choose whether we are going to live or die. Our choice is if we want to join Graisson, scouts, or military police. This is the reason we trained so hard we chose to fight to stop the Titans.
As each commander of each force came onto stage the more and more cadets left the ranks to join their respected forces. Each of the forces is harder than the last. By the time the scouts commander came to the stage there, there was only me. The scouts are the hardest level of the military due to the fact they go outside the wall to fight the titans outside the wall.
'Tch chickens' I thought
The rest of them wanted to stay inside the walls to "stay safe". I see no point because, in reality, nowhere is "safe". The titans plague the outside of the walls but as of recently an 'abnormal' broke into the wall of Marira and now the whole city of Marira is plagued by titans. Anyway the others are wimps.
" Welcome, my name is commander Erwin Smith of the scout regiment".
"Sir" I salute commander Erwin
"What is your name cadet," he asked "Angel Powless, Sir" I answered in a monotone voice "So you were the only one to join us the huh""Yes Sir""Well ok, then welcome as you know I am commander Erwin, this is Mike the likes to sniff people" he pointed to the blond beside him"Hi my name is Hanji Zoe, I am the head researcher of Titans," said a Brunette with glasses"Tch shut up shittyglasses my name is Levi Ackerman brat," the dark-haired man said in a monotone voice "Tch nice to meet you as I said my name is Angel Powless, I was at the top of all my classes and I have killed 23 titans""Oh my wall she is a female version Levi," said Hanji"Tch I am not you idiot" I sassed back"Oi brat 100 laps and you get to clean the mess hall for a whole month" said the raven haired man that I have come to know is Captain Levi.'Great I get to do my favorite thing...running like a damn idiot' I thought as i start jogging away. I have spent my whole running therefore this was a breeze only took 39 minutes 'Wow I thought it would take longer '"Oi start cleaning, brat " yelled Levi"Tch don't call me a brat shorty" I sassly replied "You are shorter than me brat""Whatever""Go clean"'Well he is damn annoying'Time Skip Once I am done cleaning the mess hall, hallway and my room even though Captain clean freak only told me to clean the mess hall but what can I say I have OCD maybe even worse than his. "Oi brat I only to told you to clean the mess hall""Yeah I know but my OCD was going haywire so I cleaned everything cause it was filthy and a danger to my health" I responder in my normal monotone voice "Hm well it's past midnight so get to bed you have training at 7 o'clock sharp brat""Ok shorty"So I go into my freshly cleaned room. I crawled into bed and went to sleep Time Skip It's now 4 in the morning and training is at 7. So I decided to start my day early get up clean again and it's only 5:30. I guess I will go get some tea then start some training that consists of laps, pushups, situps, and some hand to hand combat. By the time I was finished, it was 6:30.So I go and get some breakfast. I walk in there with only one other person, Captain Levi."Oi what are you doing up this early" he said while sipping his tea "I have been up for hours cuz I couldn't sleep, therefore I am up and cleaning and training," I said as I am getting my black tea "Well then if you have that much energy let's see what you can do today""Yes captain" I reply as I walk off Levi povTo me, there is more to cadet Powless. So far all I know is that she is on my squad, she likes to clean, she has OCD, she likes to run, and doesn't sleep . Something seems off about her.I walk off to my office to fill out some paperwork.Time SkipIt is now 7 sharp and Angel is the only one on the training grounds other than myself. That being said, where in the hell are the rest of the brats?I look over and there is Petra, Oruo, Eld and Gunther Finally, the brats are here."Oi brats this is our new squad member Angel Powless, introduce yourselves " I yelled at them"Hello my name is Petra it will be really nice to have another girl on the squad" Said my staker petra"Tch I am oruo, have a fun rookie" petra kicks him "Be nice" she whispered "Hi I am Gunther and this is Eld""Tch as captain shorty said I am angel Powless call me Powless" angel responded in a monotone voice "Ok brats we are going to start with 50 laps"They all start running. The first to stop is Angel. That was fast. It was under 10 minutes where it should take 30 minutes."How can you run so fast," I asked"In trainees, I liked to get in trouble so I ran almost 600 laps per day so i basically got used all those laps to gain speed and burn all the calories I ate that day""Tch well that is one way to get better use you punishment to better yourself""Yep so far today I have run 250 laps"'Wow this girl is a freak she can run, and clean to my standers maybe even better, but I have to treat like the rest of these brats she is nothing special '"Tch Lets to hand to hand combat, partner up""Captain Levi can you be my partner cause the rest is not up to my standard, " Powless asked "Tch fine its not like you can beat me""Thanks captain".
