Time Skip When They Get Their Hogwarts Letter

[Location: Jackson Manor]

Harry and Neville were in the green house out back. Harry was at his medical desk, reading another book about healing techniques and potions. Neville was watering his plants. A small chirping alarm startled them. They looked outside to see two owls headed for the barrier.

"Neville, two owls headed straight for us."

Harry and Neville immediately scrambled outside, their dad was the only one allowed to change the barrier so they stepped outside of it and flagged the owls down.

Harry and Neville immediately scrambled outside, their Dad was the only one allowed to change the barrier. So they stepped outside of it and flagged the two owls down.

"Over here," Harry hollered, waving his arm, "we'll take the mail."

The owls thankfully spotted them and swooped down, landing on Harry's shoulder and dropping the letters into Neville's hands.

"Sorry," Harry replied, bringing out a snack, "that must have been a long flight. Have some snacks before you go."

The owls hooted appreciatively and took off. Harry and Neville made their way back through the barrier to the manor.

"It's our Hogwarts letter, " Neville explained, "let's wait before we open it, don't know if it's jinxed or something."

[Jackson Manor: Dining Room]

"Hey, dad," Harry and Neville walked into the room presenting the letters, "we got our Hogwarts letter."

Remus looked up from his Daily Prophet, Sirius from his tea, and Alex walked out of the kitchen.

"Let me see them before you open them," Harry and Neville handed them over, "got to make sure they aren't spelled."

Alex gathered water particles from the air and casually swiped it over the letters, they glowed white.

"Compulsion spells, tracking spells, loyalty spells, and suppression spells." all the adults frowned.

Remus flicked his wand out and the letters disintegrated.

"Don't worry, pups," Sirius said, "I'll send a letter to Minevra for a list."

"How long did Hecate say the clones would stay?" Neville asked, Harry nodding in agreement.

Anytime they went out, they had to place a glamour on. They were always itchy, they didn't know how Sirius did it.

"Your clones will disappear when we arrive at Platform 9 3/4. Anyone who came into contact with them will have their memories whipped of you." Alex explained, he looked at his watch.

"I've got to go to work," Alex grabbed his bag from the kitchen counter, "they're bringing in another grindylow and I need to feed the polar bears."

Alex had gotten fidgety the last couple of years, no doubt the side-effects of the Gaea War. Luckily he had magic on his side, he locked his night terrors deep in his mind, but this left him with extreme ADHD. His father proposed to get a job at the nearby aquarium, turns out Poseidon was just looking for someone to watch over the place. As an added benefit, it was a no normal aquarium, it held both normal and magical creatures.

"Can we come, Da?" Harry asked, his and Neville's eyes lighting up in th excitement.

Alex chuckled and nodded.

"Grab your stuff, we leave in 20 minutes," Alex looked over at Remus and Sirius, "did you want to come as well?"

Sirius nodded excitedly and dragged Remus away to get their stuff ready.
