You woke up the next day extremely exhausted. You slowly go out of bed to get some breakfast which consisted of corn flakes because that was all you could afford at the moment. You began to scroll through your messages with Tyler from the night before.

(Keep in mind, this is going with the timeline of tøp becoming what it is now so currently it's 2010 as self titled came out in December of 2009 and Summer is supposed to be almost over so it would have to be 2010. Also you have a flip phone OKAY BACK TO THE STORY)

You had stayed up very late because you were talking with Tyler all night, so you were wiped out. You planned to meet Tyler at the coffee shop at around 12 and it was currently 11:00 so you decided to get ready.

You took a shower, put on some comfy clothes, and brushed your teeth before yelling to Stella that you were going out.

Before she could answer you were already out the door because you only had five minutes to get there and you had no idea where the place was.

As you ran out of your apartment building, you ran into another figure, causing you to fall down.

"I'm so sorry," you said then stood up and saw a familiar face.

"It's fine don't worr- Oh hi Y/N!" It was Tyler.

"Wow what a coincidence, we were both going to see each other anyway," you laughed awkwardly.

"So I guess we can walk to the coffee place together now?" He said smiling. 'Well that's an adorable smile,' you thought but soon snapped out of it and quickly responded with, "Yup!"

You started walking foreword until you realized Tyler wasn't with you. You turned around to see a confused Tyler.

"You're going the wrong way," he said as a grin spread over his face.

"Oh woops," you said rubbing your arm awkwardly.

He grabbed your hand and started walking you to the coffee place.

"So," he starts with his had still holding onto yours, "I've never really seen you around Columbus."

"I just moved here recently with my friend for college," you said continuing the conversation.

"Oh, that makes sense considering most people in this area goes to the same high school, I thought I would have seen you around,"

You continued your conversation as you walked to the coffee shop, still holding hands.

You and Tyler never realized that you were holding hands until you both entered the shop. You both abruptly let go as a blush spread over both of your faces.

As you ordered your coffee you both had the classic "no I'm gonna pay" argument. You finally gave in and allowed him to pay.

"So what is your college major?" He asked.

"Well," you started, "my parents want me to do law," you said with an annoyed tone, "but I want to go for song writing."

"You write songs?" He asked with a happy tone in his voice.

"Yup," you said with a smile creeping up on your cheeks. Tyler could see you light up just from mentioning music and he could tell you were passionate about it.

"The songs aren't very good though," you said.

"Aw don't say that! I'm sure they are incredible!" He said trying to cheer you up. "You should show me them sometime!" He said smiling.

"Maybe some time," you said.

"I have to get going, there are some band stuff happening that is making me kinda crazy," he started and you could sense the panic within him stir.

"What's happening with the band?" You said with concern washing over you.

"I'll tell you about it later, I really gotta go right now," he said starting to get up.

"You can come over to my apartment tonight if you want to hang and talk about it?" You said still concerned.

"Yeah I'd love to, I'll text you when I'm done with band thing and you can text me the address," he says with slight nervousness.

You both hug goodbye and go your separate ways.
