D.T's POV:
I was startled up from sleep when I heard an angry woman-- no-- actually my mother screaming hysterically at well; I guess me. When I fully opened up my mind and well my eyes I could hear clearly what she was saying.
"Dean Thomas Parker! You better get out of your bed and right now! Never once in my life am I going to let one of my boys have this attitude! GET UP!"
I quickly rose up when I saw that a vein was practically going to pop out from her neck. Geesh. That was awkward.
It's not like my mom is always like this, she just really cares about me and all her family a lot. Today was the first day of school of my senior year and hell she wasn't going to let me get up any later than it already was. I sighed as I started to get ready, I mean, I was really tired. Oh yeah, "Dean Thomas" ha-ha-ha. What a stupid name.. I hate it so normally everyone calls me D.T. I had three older brothers who were all already graduated, they were really those type of kids who everyone loved. Any mom would probably dream about having them. They were like pretty much perfect. My mom really was good at raising children I guess. But I was just a whole other story than the rest of my brothers. I wasn't a straight A student, in fact, I barely passed most of my high school years and to be honest; I was on drugs. I was in a gang too. I mean, I really don't see anything wrong with it; I only see that others see everything completely wrong with it.
You see, my mom knew about me failing the tests and everything, but she had completely no idea about the drugs & my gang. Anyways, I would never tell her and hoped that she would never find out. Maybe it's hard to believe, but even though I did all of these things, I really loved my mom and thought that she didn't deserve to have a son like me. I wasn't anything compared to my three older brothers who by the way were: (1) Austin, the oldest. (2) Jack, the second oldest. (3) Collin and well (4) Me. Just by the way, it's not like they were nerds without any social life or anything. To be honest, they had a lot of girls around them, but they never were the guys that were referred to "players". And well that's pretty much it.
At home, it's only Mom,Collin,Austin and me. Jack already got married and was living in another state with his wife and well if you were thinking for a dad; he didn't exist in my family. To me, my dad was a bastard, and a stupid man who left us all in hands of my mom. That's why I respect and love her so much, she deserves a lot more than what she has right now.
