Chapter Three - Introducing Ms.Mystery Girl

Mystery Girl's POV

I used to live in Arizona and I loved it there. My friends, family, everything. But because of my Dad's godforsaken job, we had to move to California. Not that I don't like California, but hell do I miss my people. We got into the new house around July, so I still had time till school started,yeay? I was super depressed for some days, I mean like REALLY depressed. I missed everyone so much. My sister, Kelly went to the school I was going to go to, but only for 1 year of Middle School and 1 of High School. I guess that at least she could maybe help me out with who I could get along with. Yeay?

I went to take a walk around the neighborhood on a Saturday morning, and that's when I met HIM for the first time; Dean Thomas, or as they called him, D.T? I didn't know who he was when I was walking around, I actually thought that he was like already graduated or something. I was at least two blocks away from my house when he and other four boys passed by. I normally am not the type of girls that are flirty and socialize easily. So I just kept walking, but one of the four guys ( not D.T) stopped me.

"Wooahh!! You going fast girl! You

didn't even say hi!" said the guy.

" Hmmm wasn't planning on it you know? And of course why would I be saying hello to str--" I got cut before I could complete my sentence by Kelly. Magically, she just appeared.

"Conner! Get away from my sister!" Kelly gritted her teeth.

"Kellyyy! Long time no see! This is your sister? Geesh! You both pretty much alike! Come on you're not gonna give me a hug?" said Conner

"Ha-ha. Nice try Conner. My sister and I are leaving," said Kelly bitterly.

"Ohh! Why so soon? Your sister is

smokin' hot!" said Conner with a big smirk on his face. I felt myself blush a little.Kelly was obviously going to snap back, but before she could one of the guys approached me. He was drunk or something, because he smelled like hell. At first he just stared at me, and then smiled. I mean the guy was hot. His brownish eyes were only a little darker than mine and his hair was a kind of "good boy-bad boy" haircut, but he looked so good with it. And his--. I was about to keep checking him out, but I felt someone's lips on my lips. Let's just better say, Dean Thomas was kissing me.

I immediately pushed him away from me and looked at him with infernal eyes. What a jerk! Even if he was drunk! Why the hell was he drunk in the first place! I wanted to say something and shout at him but no words came out. Anyways, Kels just grabbed my hand and before storming on she said,

"Goodbye Conner. We don't need any jerks like you and Dean around. Just get away from my sister you hear? You all stay away from her" Kelly said. She stuck out her middle finger to Conner and Dean, and then we turned the other way to go straight back home. We could hear Conner screaming from behind us saying,

"Ugh c'mon Kelly! Are you still mad about it? And D.T here is drunk! You can't blame him!" said Conner with a tone of sarcasm but sincerity too. Weird situation.

I didn't talk to Kels about what had happened on the way back home. I was just shocked, I mean, what just happened?!?! But I knew that my sister hated them for some reason, but I decided to ask my questions later. I still had my mind on D.T. Not that I liked him or anything, I can't just fall in love with a guy that I really don't even know and kissed me when he was drunk!That's pathetic. He was just hot and turned on curiosity in me, that's all. I swear!
