I flipped over in my bed searching for my iphone 7, as found hand came in contact with my phone under my other pillow I flipped over and unlocked my phone and read my messages. after last night and this morning's event, I agreed with the boys that I would go home and sleep at the house. my eyes then drifted to the time it was a little after 10 I sighed I was so late for school and no one woke me up but I shouldn't be surprised I came into the house around 3...4 in the morning and my parents didn't hear me come in. I got out of bed and sleep hit me hard I ran a hand through my blond hair and sighed. I walked out my room and made my way to the kitchen.

moms in the kitchen baking a pile of sweet light fairy cakes for dinner tonight, so I explained to her about why I was home, what happened and why I missed school at length my new philosophy for changing and what I want to change in my life and in order to move forward I need to let go of the past.

"So how can I help mom?" I asked at last. My mom takes the tray of cakes from the oven

"You can't, I did the wash-up while you were explain to me your resolution and what made you come to that conclusion. In any case" she added as she gave me the cake mix spoon to lick clean

"Sweetheart I'm proud of you but I really don't like the fact that you have already missed two days of school" she continues and I licked the last of the cake mix off the spoon

"hmm I know mom neither am I but I promise I will not miss anymore school from now on I will take school seriously"

My mom sighed and through the dish towel on the island and leaned forward and looked up at me

"Okay sweetheart, your father is though in the dining room. Maybe he has got something for you do to, god knows he can use the extra hands"

I smiled and dropped the spoon in the sink and kissed my mom on the way out and walked over to the oak doors that enter to the dining hall. I pushed the doors open and made my way over to my father's king like chair and sat on the arm rest

"hey dad" I chirped

"hi princess" he said he placed his document down and looked up at me he slipped an arm around my waste and I propped my elbow in his shoulder

"Daddy can I help you?" I asked hoping he would give me something to do

he took off his glasses with his free hand and made a face. I knew that face it was the are you kidding me face

"aaah..." he said

"Daddy" I giggled and hit my father playfully he chuckled and sat up in his seat

"Nay princess I'm joking; you know how you can help me"

"How??" I said more excited

"by going to school" he said firmly

"Oh!" I said and my smile faded instantly I folded my arms

He rose from his chair and walked over and stood in front of me

"No come on Jen, you have to go to school!"he said

I sighed he was being serious he called me by my name he meant business when he did this. I looked at the time and remember that my classes only start at 12 this week I stood up.

"Well daddy my classes only start at 12" I said truthfully

"All the time in the world so you can get ready" he said

I leaned back and wined my father pulled me back onto my feet and turned me around gently pushed me toward the door I unfolded my arms and made my way out the dining hall and made my way up the back stairs
