The sun beamed through my windows I guess I forgot to close the curtains. Flipping over my head was pounding, oh scotch is a no, no for this girl. Flipping over again I looked up at the sealing, sighing I crawled out of bed and walked towards the bathroom. The penthouse smelt like food, walking to the bathroom I closed the door behind me and looked at my reflection, I looked terrible. Peeling my clothes off of me I ran the shower and god in, man the water felt great on my skin, washing my hair and rinsing my body I got out the shower and got dressed. Walking out the bathroom I walked to the kitchen to find dean cooking, smiling I walked over to the island and sat down
"Morning sleepy head" he said smiling
"Morning de" I said taking a sip of the orange juice on the island
"Everything okay, you looked off yesterday" he said looking up from his eggs
"I don't know dean, I thought everything was great between Braxton and I then he and his family just up and left with no explanation, what is it am I cursed?" I said running a hand through my wet hair
"Yea we also found that super weird, and Brax didn't say anything to you?" he asked me sipping on his own orange juice
"Nah he was hella rude to me and told me to go inside" I said recalling the moment
"I hope everything is okay" he said munching on bacon
"Same, I think I'm going to see if he's at his penthouse" I said getting up
"Ayt be safe, call me when you get there" he said
Fuck my phone!!, running back to my room I looked through my back pack and pulled it out and ran back to the elevator
"Bye" he yelled as I walked into the elevator
The doors closed behind me. Sighing a sudden feel of sadness came over me I really hope he is okay. The doors opened and I walked down the corridor to reception to the other side of the corridor and walked down, man walking down the corridor was weird it was like the first day of school again, people were not shy to stare and point as I walked past
"Jenna!!" I heard someone yell my name turning around
"hey guys" I said and hugged Anna one of my new friends
"how are you feeling, i heard you got into an accident and that why you haven't been at school the past 2 months" Anna said
"yeah yeah no im good now, thank you, im really sorry that I haven't been in touch just been busy with physio and all"
"Nah don't sweat it, as long as you're okay" Anna said
"I am, do you maybe wanna chill at my place after school" I asked
"Yeah sure, that would be great" Anna said
"Alrighty then, oh have you seen Braxton?" I asked
"Rumor has it he transferred to another to school" Anna whispered
"What do you mean?" i asked
"Apparently Braxton's older brother ran into some trouble and the whole family had to skip town" Anna said looking left and right to make sure no one heard her
"whoa crazy, thanks, Anna I'll catch up with you later?" I asked and they nodded
Running down the corridor I took a hard right to the elevators and clicked the button
"Come on, come on" I yelled
Loosing patient ions I went to the emergency door that lead to their penthouse closing the door I used y speed to get to the top, busting down the door I ran inside the penthouse and came to a dead stop when i realized how empty the penthouse was. Holding onto my chest, my heart ached it was like I was being stabbed in the heart, trying to breath in in felt tears running down my face
"No no!!" I heard my voice echo the room
Running down the corridor I went to every room searching for Braxton and there was nothing. Stopping in his room I collapsed to the floor and cried this can't be happening to me, no, no, it can't. Getting up I walked down the corridor to the empty living room space and ran to the elevator the door opened I ran inside and clicked ground floor. My head was spinning were could he have gone? He promised me it was going to be just me and him! He promised me! How could he do this to me? The doors opened and I ran down the corridor pushing people as I pasted them. Running over to the reception lady
"ma'am!" I yelled banging on the glass
"I need to see my uncle it's an emergency" I yelled
"Okay sweety come through"
The door buzzed and I rushed through down the hall to my uncle's office and barged in
"uncle scott where is Braxton?" I yelled
"sweetie the boltens moved out last night" he said calmly
"to where?" I asked wiping my tears away
"i dont know they paid rent for the rest of the year and never told me anything, sweetie its okay" he said walking over and hugging me
"no its not uncle scott non of this is okay" I said getting away from him
walking out of his office I could hear him screaming for me but I payed no mind to it walking out the office I walked over to the stairs that lead to the cars running down the stairs I opened the door and speed walked over to the key cabinet and took my mustang keys walking over to my car I got in and closed the door putting the keys in the ignition I revved the cars and speed down to the garage opening it I drove out and l closed it. Speeding off I headed for Braxton's house. Something was off with this entire situation and I needed to get to the bottom of it
pulling up to braxtons house I hoped out the car. Engen still running, running up to the door it was half open running through the doors I looked left and right and the house was empty, feeling myself get over whelmed I ran to each room screaming for Braxton but every room was empty, spinning around a ran a and through my hair, tears ran down my face. He really left me, he left me. Pulling myself together I walked out the house and closed the door behind me. Walking over to my car I got in and closed the door, I felt so numb, empty, how could he do this to me? He knew how I felt about him and he just left. Pulling out the drive way I drove away and drove down the road to the one person who would help right now.
Pulling up to my house I got out the car and sighed. Walking up the stairs I walked through the open front door, through the hall way to the kitchen where I knew I would find my mother, if anyone could help me it was her. Walking into the kitchen I closed the wooden doors behind me and looked dead straight ahead
"Jenna honey, what's wrong?" she said as she walked over to me
"Hes gone" is all I managed to say before breaking down
My mother held me, covering my mouth I tried to muffle my crying, my whole body ached and I got weak my mother struggled to old me and we slowly made it onto the floor.
"Baby, baby, what's wrong please tell me" she said stroking my hair
"He's gone, he's gone mommy Braxton left me" I cried
"No, no I'm sure he's just around he didn't leave you" she said stroking my hair
"no mom he's gone I went by the penthouse its empty I asked uncle Scott where he is and he said they moved out I went by the house and its empty, he's gone mom" I cried even more
"Aww sweetie I'm so sorry, I'm sorry" she said holding tighter
"I'm sorry baby" she said again rocking me back and forth
I felt myself calm down but the tears continued to roll down my face I held onto my mom and felt my eyes go heavy and let the darkness consume me.
