No, I must be conscious.
Get up.

You blinked your eyes many times before trying to get up. From the corner of your eyes, you saw your mother gasping while closing her mouth and your father who looked like he didn't care at all. She yelled at your father and the argument got bigger until she forgot that she should have checked you first.

You knew that it was no use to wait for them to give their attention to you so you got up and slowly opened the door. You went out and closed the door behind you before running as fast as you can with your last energy. You didn't know where you were heading but you kept running. You blinked few times to get rid of the tears that blurred your vision.

Maybe you closed your eyes a millisecond too long so that you didn't realize that you were about to bump someone. Your forehead bumped with hard chest but you relaxed a bit as you felt the warmth of the coat the person was wearing. Your eyes widened as you realized but suddenly a pair of arms was wrapped around your body.

You panicked but as you inhaled the familiar scent, you immediately knew that this person was not a stranger.

"Y/n.."

You were taken aback as you heard his voice which was very familiar to your ears.

"Cry as much as you want."

With that, you bursted into tears and let out all of your emotions as he caressed your hair. It lasted for few minutes until you calmed down and pulled away. You were about to thank the person whoever he was but your eyes widened as you saw the person in front of you.

"Taehyung?"
You said as you wiped your tears.
"Why were you here? I thought your house is not this way."

"Um.. I'm sorry, I followed you because I'm worried."

You were touched.
"Thankyou. I'm fine."

"No, you're not fine, y/n. I wish I could help you."

You looked at him in his eyes and sighed. You really needed someone to listen to all your problems and comfort you but at the same time, you were not sure if you could trust him because both of you had never been in one class or even got close to each other.

But for this time, you decided to learn to trust again. Plus, he didn't seem like the person who would betray you. But then it reminded you of your 'caring' and 'innocent' bestfriend who stabbed your back.

"My boyfriend cheated on me."
You blurted out after both of you sat on a bench.

"That's bad."
Taehyung's expression saddened and he tried to comfort you but you continued.

"With my bestfriend."

"Oh my that's worse."
Taehyung said as he placed his hand on your shoulder.

You sighed and suddenly he ran his fingers on your hair.

"What's this on your hair?"

"My hair?"
You touched your hair where Taehyung pointed and gasped as you saw blood on your hand.

"What the hell??!"

He quickly stood up and grabbed your hand.

"Hey, what ar-"

"Can you walk?"

You nodded quickly but he let out a sigh and shook his head a little. He suddenly picked you up and ran somewhere.

"T-Taehyung! Where are you taking me?"

"The hospital."
He breathed heavily.

There was a hospital which was not really far from where both of you were and Taehyung carried you there because it would waste time if you walk because you're getting tired.

Both of you arrived there exactly when a doctor and two nurses passed by. He brought you to them and told them to 'save' you and you eyed him in confusion as they took you away. This was not a serious injury and he talked as if you were going to die if they didn't hurry.

Taehyung waited in front of your
room and sighed in relief as the doctor told him that it was not a serious injury. But that night you had to stay in the hospital so Taehyung insisted to stay with you no matter how many times you told him that it was fine and you could take care of yourself.

"Taehyung, you really should go home. Your family will be worried."

"It's like the tenth time already, y/n. Don't worry, they're okay with this."
He reassured you as he did his homework on his lap.
"You're lucky you don't have any homework."

There was a long silence before Taehyung spoke up again.

"Actually how do you injure your head and arm? You were still fine when I met you in the class earlier. And why were you running? Luckily you bumped into me, not someone else."

"Yeah. It's actually a quite long story. My parents have jobs abroad and they rarely come home. They often argue even over small things and it always turns into a big argument. I came in when they were fighting and yeah, this happened."

Taehyung's eyes widened.
"They did this to you?? B-but why? You did nothing wrong. Do they always act like this towards you?"

You shook your head and chuckled bitterly.
"My father accidentally threw a vase and it hit me."

Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows. Then why didn't they bring her to the hospital if they 'accidentally' injured her?

"You can stay in my house until the condition gets better. There's a room you can use."
He offered.

"Uh, I guess I should accept your offer this time since I have nowhere to stay. I don't want to go back there."

Taehyung nodded.
"Yeah, you might get hurt again."

After that incident, you stayed at Taehyung's house until one day you saw that your parent's black car were no longer there. You decided to tell Taehyung that you will go back to your house and thank him for letting you stay and helping you to go through your hard times.

Both of you became bestfriends and you always came over to his house to study together or play. He even helped you to confront your boyfriend and bestfriend and tell them that you no longer wanted to have any relations with them. Taehyung and you always supported each other and everything was so perfect. After all, everything happens for a reason. There would always be good things behind the problems you were facing, and you only saw it when you think positively.
