"No way- I can't have two soulmates." Connor said freaking out, seeing the two names upon his wrists was scary as hell. One was already bad enough when they were your best friend, but both best friends? Why did the soulmate heavens do this to him? Dylan and Mitch were always there for him, but how would they be now? It didn't help his luck he got them finally after the NHL draft. Dylan was in Arizona already and Mitch was obviously in Toronto. He was extremely proud of his 'friends' or better yet new found soulmates. He couldn't just drive from Edmonton to be with both of them, they were no longer otters anymore. Connor knew he had only one choice, and that was to tell them over a Skype call.

Connor: can we skype later?? gotta say something

Dylan: if it's about how you are proud of us for making a team we already know

Mitch: miss us already mcjesus? ;)

Connor: uh... yeah something like that, 7pm??

Both boys reluctantly agreed to chatting with Connor, though they had no actual clue as to why a group skype was in dire need. Connor was scared shitless, he had no clue if either boy had their tattoo, if it was him, or even let alone a guy. Pent up inside of him was nerves, after all these were his tea best friends in the whole world so he didn't want to fuck it up. I mean surely his childhood best friends would understand, right?

The time for Skype was rolling around, allowing Connor to unlock his iPhone and hop on the video chat app. He was surprised to say the least when he realized Dylan and Mitch had already logged in ready to chat with him. Connor got himself situated sitting against the backboard and requested to chat with both. Dylan appeared on his screen all huddled up in his bed with what seemed to be Chinese food, meanwhile Mitch looked to be fresh from the shower. "Hey McJesus!" Dylan said through a mouthful of rice while laughing. Mitch sat looking intently at the boys while attempting to straighten out his hair. "So I thought you would want to know something." Connor stated while making sure his otter hoodie sleeves had his wrists covered. Sue him, he would be lying if he had said that playing in the NHL meant no more otter gear being worn. After all it is where he started this whirlwind of a sport with them, and he loved every moment of it. "I got my soulmate tattoo, the thing is I have two of them." His voice managed to stay calm but shaky as he then bit his lip after finishing. From the other end a sharp inhale from Mitch could be heard. Meanwhile Dylan's eyes became as wide as saucers "Really man! That's great." Mitch said faking enthusiasm while seemingly having less excitement in his voice. Connor took a deep breath while trying to process why Mitch would be upset, then brushed it off. Emotional stuff wasn't typically Connors thing so damnit, Mitch could wait a minute. "The thing is my soulmate are you two." He said looking back towards his wrists not wanting to watch their immediate reactions. As he decided to look back up again, he noticed a pink tint on Stromers face. Dylan had a private location for his. His soulmate tattoos were on his hip bones. Which unfortunately due to keeping his soulmates private to himself meant he couldn't wear his shorts low like the rest of the guys. It wasn't a big deal since they played it off as him being insecure about his lower body. "You guys are mine too." Dylan spoke quietly towards both boys. Mitch at this point had gone speechless, he however pulled off his sweater (which probably belonged to Dylan or Connor) and displayed his forearm in front of the screen. In cursive covering the whole are said "Connor & Dylan". All three boys had a moment of silver before any of them dared to speak up. "What does this mean for us?" Mitch asked breaking the silence. "Well I guess you two are now going to be my boyfriends?" Dylan asked trying to sort the deal out. "I mean yeah, of course. My parents already loved you guys as my friends, so boyfriends might make her faint." Connor said chuckling at the end. It was a shared agreement between the boys, they all loved mama McDavid and well now Connor too.
