Leo's Crush

Kenny's POV:

I'm walking through the halls as a hear the first bell ring. Signaling for me to head to my locker. I'm walking by and I see Leo struggling to get his stuff. ' how cute'. I go over and lean against the locker beside him. He stops what he's doing to look at me. His eyes meet mine and my heartbeat is all I can hear. I snap out of it when he asks for my help. I smile at him as I grab what he needed for the first period and hand it to him. " here ya go Buttercup~"I sweetly say to him. I can see his face flush at my words. He starts to stutter a bit and insists we get to class. We share our first class together. Science is something Leo has never been good at and often envies my grades in that class. We walk into the classroom. I sit down and he sits in the desk next to me. Craig Kyle and Cartman walk in after us and sit in their chosen desks. The teacher walks in and the class starts.

Leo's POV:

Mrs.Mueller passes out work for us to do after our warmup. She starts to give us a review of everything we learned yesterday. ' Mysterion. Who could he be? Will I be able to see him again? What does he think of me?' " Leopold" Mrs.Mueller calls out my name and I panic. I quickly look around the room to see everyone staring at me. I don't even know the question! I glance at Kenny who is holding up the number 4. I look down at my page to see he wrote down all the review answers I order. The 4th one is Sulfur. I quickly answer " Sulfur mam' " she smiles and goes to the next question. ' How did Kenny manage to write all that on my paper? Most importantly how did he know I wasn't paying attention. No matter what way you put it he saved me from embarrassment once again. The class ended and I had no choice but to thank him. We walked out of the class and he brought it up almost immediately. " What were you thinking about?" he asked me with curiosity in his voice. " i-i u-uh well" I stuttered not knowing what to say but eventually came clean. " I just can't get this Mysterion guy out of my mind!" I complain to him. He chuckles " Maybe you can see him tonight and finally get him off your mind." he has confidence in his eyes. " hopefully I can"I reply with a hint of unsureness in my voice. \

3rd person POV:

The day goes by with the boys only having 1st ( Science) 4th ( Lunch) and 8th ( gym) together. The boys then meet up at their lockers and head to the bus. They get on the bus and Kenny drops Leo off at his house. Leo walks through the door only for his parents to be sitting on the couch reading their books. " Oh hey there Butters" his dad acknowledged him only for a second. It seemed like they didn't even notice he left last night.

Leo's POV:

I walk upstairs. All I can think about is Mysterion. 'Hoping he comes back'. My heart beats faster when I think about him. I make it to my room. I immediately lay on my bed. What is going on with me? All I can ever do is think about him. But when I do I feel all giggly and my heart beat gets faster. Maybe Kyle will know. I pull out my phone and message Kyle.

Leo: Hey Kyle can I ask you something?

Kyle: Sure Butters what's up?

Leo: There is this superhero guy that showed up at my house and now I can't stop thinking about him.

Kyle: What is his superhero name?

Leo: Mysterion. He has a deep raspy voice and a purple hooded cape. I just can't get him out of my head.

Kyle: ...dude that's..ya know what nevermind. It sounds like you have a crush on this " Mysterion" guy.

Leo: a crush? No way.

Kyle: How do you feel when you think about him.

Leo: Well I feel all giggly and my heartbeat gets louder and faster. I feel all bubbly around him.

Kyle: yup definitely a crush. Butters, you got it bad.

Leo: oh no! What do I do?

Kyle: Tell him ASAP!

Leo: oh gee. Alrighty then thank you, Kyle

Kyle: Np Butters

I put away my phone and stare out my window. It's getting late and there is no sign of him. I lose hope and start to head to bed. But as soon as I turn around I hear my window open and Mysterion climbing in through the window. I get a bit over excited and hug him. I couldn't tell he didn't expect it because he got startled a bit. I hugged him for a couple minutes enjoying the time I had. Hugging him was so comfortable. He is fairly skinny too. He hugs me back and I pull away to greet him. " Mysterion! I'm so glad you came back! I-i uh I mean.. Why are you back?" I correct myself. He chuckles cutely and responds "I just wanted to check on you and make sure nothing had happened today. " he smiled which made my heart flutter. " o-oh well i-i uh"I wanted to tell him so bad but the words wouldn't come out. " i-i have something to tell you" he sat down on my bed and listened. " w-well ya see i...." I choke. I can't say it and I without knowing, say something else. " I need your opinion on something yes mhm. " he raises an eyebrow and responds " What is it?" his voice echoes through my head. " So I like this guy. He is sweet and always helps me get my stuff when I can't reach. Not to mention he is super good at Science and helps me cheat when I daydream. But I also like this other guy. He is anonymous and keeps to himself. Caring and looking out for my safety. But I don't know who to choose. Who should I focus on?" I vent my situation to him. He is quick to understand and respond " You should go for the Mccormick kid. He seems sweet and cares for you a lot. " I can see a slight blush on his face..but what for? " How did you know I was talking about him?" I question surprised. " he uh told me what happened in class today. So it was obvious. Anyways go for him. You'll find out there is more to him than meets the eye" he heads for the window and takes one look back at me. " I won't be anonymous for much longer. Don't worry Buttercup~" and with that last word he winked and jumped out the window. He set my heart on fire with every word. But then I realized. He knew I was trying to decide between him and Kenny. " Oh, hamburgers!" I say out loud to myself. I start to think through all of his words to find out what they mean. Maybe I can find out who he is?!?! ' He said Kenny has a lot more to him than meets the eye. He also...' I gasp realizing something. ' he called me Buttercup...only Kenny does that...MYSTERION IS KENNY!" I yell forgetting how loud I am. My dad hollers at me " BUTTERS YOU YELL ONE MORE TIME AND YOUR GROUNDED MR. !!!!"I can't even react to his threat. I plop down on my bed. I'm so happy I could explode. I don't have to choose between them both! But wait... Mysterion probably doesn't know I'm aware of his identity. Oh, hamburgers now I gotta lie to him. Oh well, I think I should get some sleep. I got a big day ahead of me tomorrow.

With that Leopold goes to sleep dreaming of Mysterion and Kenny and what their relationship would be like. He was so excited for the next day that he dreamt a plan of how it would go. He hoped that Kenny would accept his confession. He hoped they could be happy..together.
