Gordie P.O.V. Growing up was the most confusing experience I'd ever went through. When I was 2 years old My parents moved my older brother and I moved to a small unordinary city called "Castle Rock," which was located in the state of Colorado.
The city was very beautiful indeed... but the heart of Castle Rock was filled with nothing but uglyness.
Right now my best friend Chris Chambers and I are in the treehouse looking at all the beautiful stars in the sky. I smiled as my best friend wrapped his arm around me peacefully.
Living In this city was a nightmare but I had my three best friends Vern,Teddy, and Chris that made living here worth a damn... (Especially Chris)
Ever since my brother passed away it's been hard on me and my family. My dad didn't give a shit about me anymore and my mother just became a robot. As for me... I cry myself to sleep every single night wishing that I died instead of my brother.
I looked down at the old cuts on my wrist and signed...
"Are you ok Gordie"? (Chris asked concerned)
"Yea I'm fine, just... thinking".
"The stars are really beautiful tonight". (Chris said looking peacefully up at the sky)
"I wonder what heaven looks like.... I bet it's a beautiful place". (Chris signed as his blue ocean eyes glowed beautifully...)
"Sometimes I wonder what Denny is doing up there... I wonder if he's happy and free"...
"He is Gordie... I promise, He's an angel"......
(I looked up at Chris and smiled)
"Just like you". (Chris joked)
"Stop"!! (I laughed as I felt my cheeks burn.... I don't know why I blushed I just did... )
I looked into Chris's blue eyes as he looked back into my brown eyes.... It felt like we where staring into each other's soul.
At this very moment his blue eyes were piercing through my brown eyes, his sharp imitating blue eyes melted my dark brown eyes.
"Chris"?
"Yea Gordie"?
"Will you always Stand By Me"?
"Of course! I'll always be here for you.... You're my best friend... I'll never leave your side darling"....
"Pinky promise".... (I held my Pinky in the air)
"Pinky promise"... (Chris kissed the tip of his Pinky and locked our Pinkys together)
"When the night has come.... and the land is dark and the Moon is the only light we'll see". (Chris sung as he had his arm wrapped around me)
"Please don't sing that song!! It makes me cry Chris"!!! (I giggled and looked up at him)
We looked at each other and smiled as the stars in the sky grew brighter and brighter
We always did this Everytime we hanged out... We would stare and touch each other a lot but hey That's what best friends do........
Right?
I look up to Chris like a role model.... He's strong, brave, confident, and I have to admit. he's not to bad looking himself.
To sum it all up... He's my best friend and...
I love him....
