Something new (matt espinosa )

chapter 1

Here in Virginia there's plenty of hot guys , but only one that I want. Matthew Espinosa. I've had the biggest crush on him since 4th grade. He's what we call eye candy at our little school. almost every girl wants him. which is gonna make it harder for me to get him.

okayLilly , todayisyourday. itstimetoshine. itstimetomakeeverybodylikeyouinsteadofhateyouI said to myself when my alarm went off. its 6:30 am , the bus gets here at 8. I rolled over and shut my alarm off then put my glasses on and grabbed my phone. I scrolled through twitter a little for about 5 minutes. then got in the shower. I stared singing Radioactive by imagine dragons while scrubbing every spot on my head with shampoo. then I washed my body , rinsed off , then I got out.

       Whattowear , whattowear.

I grabbed a white crop top/ muscle shirt that said "reckless" on it, grabbed a bandeau out of my top drawer and set them both on my bed. after that I grabbed a pair of denim high waisted shorts and a pair of socks and set those by my shirt. then I headed to the bathroom. I ran the brush through my hair and brushed out all of the knots. I plugged in my blow dryer and dried my hair. it was 7 am. once my hair was dry I unplugged my blow dryer and plugged in my curling wand. while that was heating up I brushed through my hair again. I started my makeup. A little foundation , next eyeliner on only the top lid (a thin line) then mascara. and then curled my hair. My hair was like a dirty blonde down to the almost the top on my butt. so after I curled my hair it was about mid back.

   I got dressed then I head downstairs to grab a pop tart. I sat on the couch and watched the news to check the weather. "todayitsgonnabeinthe 70's andalittlecloudy. 10% chanceofrain". by then it was 7:45 am. Im gonna drive to school mom ! I yelled. " okay!" she replied.

I'm 17 so I have my license, and I drive a jeep wrangler. I ran upstairs to grab my shoes. I went in my walk in closet and dig through my shoe box and found my red vans and I put them on, grabbed my car keys and headed back downstairs. it's 8 o'clock now but school doesn't start until 8:30 and its only a 5 minute drive to the school.

                 

                When I walked outside I tripped on the steps. but I caught myself. Phew that was close. I got in my car and started it. I turned on the radio and my favorite song was playing "I'msofancy ! " I sang along. then I put the car in reverse and backed out of the driveway. As I was driving down the road I saw Matthew walking. I slowed down to his speed. "hey ! youwantaride?" i managed to say. "ehh i don'tknow" he chirped.  "getin. " I said. He got in. we were about 4 minutes from school. (a ten minute walk). it was kinda awkward at first. then I spoke up. "hey" I squeaked. he looked at my for a second then he responded with "hello" he said. with a big smile on his face. godhissmilewasperfect. before I knew it we were there.
