Skylar's POV

Two days after the guys had gotten drunk, they had gone back to Korea. A week after they left, Nicky and I went back to California to get ready for something big.

We had decided that we would move to Korea, as we had been street casted and were about to join a Korean entertainment company. We had no clue what exactly was the name of the company. We only knew the address of it.

We decided that it would be best that my mother stayed at our house as she and her family had been living in an apartment.

Heaven was to come with us too, as she had also been street casted with us when we were performing a song in public.

We had decided that we wouldn't be able to bring everything with us, so we brought the smaller things. The only things we were going to carry with us were our camera gear, my violin, and my sister's viola. My mother would ship to us our keyboard, the electric and acousric guitars, and our electric bass. Nicky had decided to leave her drum set with her mother and I left the piano with mine.

We packed up as many clothes as we could, and as many of our essential accessories as possible.

I had already transfered my classes to a SNU, so I could continue taking classes and working on my career next semester.

Soon enough, we were already on the plane to Korea. Nicky started practicing her Korean with me Heaven, afraid that she wouldn't be able to speak well enough.

We were all nervous about training and we were all wondering how we would get along with other trainees. We were also afraid that we wouldn't have much freedom, but I also assured the girls that if something in that contract was inacceptable, that I would either (1) Call the entertainment company out and make them change it, or (2) reject the offer and possibly just go back home. I promised that I wouldn't let the company use us in any way they wanted, they would have to give us some freedom.

When we arrived at the airport, we saw a tall man holding a sign that said 'WELCOME SKY, HEAVEN, & NICKY'. We headed towards him and asked him if he was going to take us to our company, to which he said he would. We then got our luggage and got into the black van that he would drive to the company building.

"No way," Nicky said when she saw the company building, "Is this what I think it is?"

"Oh my goodness," Heaven said, "I think it is."

I had no idea what they meant, so I continued walking behind the tall man after we got out of the car. We entered the building and then were led into an office. There, we met a man who said his name was Bang Sihyuk.

"It's Hitman Bang," Nicky whispered to me, making me even more confused.

"Hello Ladies," he said in English and then continued in Korean, "I believe you are here to talk about the contract."

"Ne," all three of us answered

"It would be a seven year contract, as we usually have done with some of our greatest artists," he said, "Here is a contract for each of you three. Please read it carefully, and if you have any questions about anything on the contract, please feel free to ask me."

There were three papers stapled together, and the contract was printed on all three papers, both front and back, but I still took time to read the whole thing, as well as I helped Nicky read it as she wasn't as fluent in Korean reading.

'You will not be allowed to date in the six months of the contract,'  I read.

"Sillyehabnida (Excuse Me)," I said, "I have a question about this."

"Yes?" the CEO said

"Is the dating ban only for when we are trainees?"I asked

"Oh yes," he said, "We already have other members of the group that we would like you guys to be in. You guys are the last few members. We just need two more members, and we are planning for you guys to debut in six months, so yes, it would only apply to your trainee days."

'It's not that bad,' I thought as I continued to read through the contract, 'At least they're not enslaving us like other companies would. '

At the end of reading the contract, we talked about it, and we agreed on signing it. We also talked about what our artistic names would be. I just went with 'Sky', Heaven just went with her own name, and Nicky went with 'Nicky Rose'.

We were then led to a dance room in which there were two other girls. They introduced themselves as Divya, who's stage name would be Arya, and Khuyen, who's stage name would be KC. They both had been training for about a year.

Apparently, the company had chosen to create a girl group very last minute and didn't even have a name for the group yet and that they were panicking to get another two people to audition very quickly as they had planned for the group to have seven members.

And that was when I remembered that I knew two other people living in Korea that could sing. I talked to the CEO about those two people and he then asked me to contact them, so I called Soonhee and Soomi through Facebook.

Within a month, the group was completed, we had recorded our debut song, and had a dance. We also had decided on calling our group 'Stardust', and the girls had decided to make me the leader of the group. Nicky, Arya, and KC would all be rappers, while Heaven and Sonhee would be subvocals and Soomi and I would be Main Vocals.

Our colors were picked out by us, and so was our logo. Our colors were Cobalt Blue and Gold and our logo was half of a star that was filled in with cobalt blue and had a thick golf outline.

And so, after six months of training and practicing, Stardust debuted on April 20th, 2018 under BigHit Entertainment.
