(A/N: Don't watch the video until you get down to the part where I tell you about it lol)
Skylar's POV
It had been a few months since we were told that we would be competing in a TV show, and the boys just returned from their promotions in America. They also announced a tour that would be happening towards the end of this year.
We were also introduced to the members of a new boy group that our company formed recently as well. They were called Tomorrow X Together (or TXT).
We were told that in one week we would be beginning the competition we were told about. We started to work on learning each of our groups' choreographies and we started making new choreographies to songs of other artists that we would be dancing to.
We were partnered up with one of the members of BTS, kind of depending on our height. Heaven and KC, being the shortest, were paired with Jimin and Yoongi accordingly. Nicky, surprisingly being the tallest, was paired with Namjoon. Soomi, Soonhee, and I were all the same height, so we were paired with Jungkook, Jin, and Taehyung respectively. Arya was paired with Hoseok as she was between Nicky and my height.
According to what we were told about the show, there would be three stages of the show. The show as a whole would last about nine weeks or so and would require us to put in extra effort outside of the actual competition. Multiple entertainment companies would be sending some of their best boy and girl groups to the show in order to win money for some charity. Our charity would be BTS's Love Myself campaign with UNICEF.
The first stage was kind of like an introduction. Each group would perform their own song, as they would normally in any show, such as Music Bank. Because there would be many groups, this part of the first stage would make up the first air of the show.
The second televised show would be of a sort of talent show of each member, in order to show something that the world, or at least South Korea, doesn't really know about us. This would either be done individually, as a duo or a trio.
The third show would begin our joint choreographies. The boy and girl group of each company would prepare two choreographies of either one of their songs, or a song of another artist. In our case, since most of us members of Stardust, could play different instruments, and are from different cultures, and since the BTS boys just released IDOL, we decided to do a multicultural version of the song in which we all dance in the traditional clothing of our country and play the song in that style, if possible. For our second dance, we would simply cover Attention by Charlie Puth, add some rap parts, and create a dance for it. And that would conclude the first stage, which was what we were worried about the most because, after this, there would be an elimination round, for which, in case we were called up for we would have to prepare another dance to a different song.
Almost every day, there we were, all fourteen of us in the practice rooms, practicing our dance moves. IDOL was quite fun to dance to as we first had to pre-record us playing our instruments and then make of remix of IDOL. We had to wear clothes similar to those we would wear in our performance as it would limit our space for dancing.
Jungkook had begged for us to do Attention because, as we all know, he LOVES Charlie Puth, so we did it just to stop the maknae from continuously complaining. The thing is, our choreographer decided to make the choreography...well...very... sexy. There's a lot of skinship.
Would I be comfortable with a really good friend? Yeah, maybe. But am I comfortable dancing with Taehyung? It's really kinda awkward. I try not to slap his hand from touching me even if it's part of the choreography. And now we were about to run through the whole thing for the first time.
(A/N: This choreo that I'm about to describe is based on this choreo of Attention on the banner thing above the title of this chapter. You can watch it now lol. It's my favorite choreo I've seen so far so...yeah it's really good. Back to the story.)
The dance began with us girls first. After two eight counts of other steps, we were on the floor, swinging our foot. We then kneeled and then stood up after some hand motions. After standing up, the guys came in behind us. We did some of the same steps, and then I felt his hand slip to my back to "catch" me as if I was falling. Soon enough, Taehyung's hand slid up my thigh. I turned and placed my hand on his cheek as if to kiss him. My hands moved to his back, and then we let go to continue to the next step. He later placed his hand on my hand, and I pulled it away as part of the dance. However, towards the end of the song, when I was supposed to walk away, he grabbed hold of my wrist, like in the typical Korean drama, and pulled me back. This wasn't part of the choreography, so I turned back to look at what happened.
At that moment, he pulled even closer to him. My hands landed on his chest, and his face was super close to mine. I could feel his breath and see the shine of the sweat running down his forehead. His chest rose and fell very quickly as he stared right into my eyes. I could feel his heartbeat. It was fast, but probably only because we had just finished dancing a very physically demanding choreography.
"What was that Taehyung-ah?" Hoseok asked, interrupting the silence
"Improvisation," he responded nonchalantly as his eyes shifted from me to Hoseok
He let go of my wrist, and I headed to talk to the girls, who opened their eyes wide at what had just happened.

Hi, guys, I'm back. Long time no see, huh?
I am so sorry for not updating in the longest time ever, I've just had a busy time with school and orchestra stuff, and I've been putting this in the back burner, but I think I will try to update for this next week as I have spring break.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this tiny bit of action a crap ton of fluff.
Thanks a ton!
Love,
~A 💕
