Sarah's POV:
It has been a week since the alien hunter was in Metropolis. Batman threatened him, and got him to leave, so now we are all back in Metropolis. Hopefully no more alien hunters come to Metropolis, otherwise we would have to threaten them again."It's so good to be home!" I said. "Agreed. Now we don't have to worry about some stupid alien hunter." Clark said. "Yep. Why do people hunt aliens? Not all of them are bad. Take a look at me and you, and Supergirl. We are not bad aliens. Sure, there are evil ones, but not all aliens are bad." I said. "People hunt us because they don't trust us. They think we are here to take over the earth, but we aren't. Some people are just plain stupid." Clark said. "Agreed." I said.
I think I might go back to my cave soon, because I need to research someone. His name is Jack Johnson, and they say he's the worst criminal ever. If he is, then I'm going to take him down. No one messes with earth. And I mean no one. They say he has killed over 300 people. That's a lot of people. This man is dangerous, and that's why he needs to be brought down.
Clark's POV:
It looks like Sarah is deep in thought. I wonder what she's thinking about. Maybe she's thinking about all that has happened lately. Things have been kinda hecktic lately."What're you thinking about?" I asked. "Hm? Oh nothing. Just some stupid things. Anyways, I'm bored, so let's go do something." Sarah said. She's acting differently. Sarah's being kinda secretive. I wonder what she's hiding from me. I wish I could read minds. "Okay. What do you have in mind?" I asked. "The Museum. Haven't been there in a while." she said. This is definitely odd. Usually she would say something like the park, but the Museum? Something is definitely off, and I'm going to find out what it is.
At the Museum...
"So why did you want to come to the Museum?" I asked. "Well I haven't been here in a while, plus I heard they added some new things. So I wanted to come check them out." She said. I know she's lying. When she lies, she becomes uncomfortable and starts acting kinda akward. Sarah thinks I don't notice, but I do. "I know you're lying because you're uncomfortable, and acting akward." I said. "You noticed that?" she asked. "I notice a lot of things. When you're telling the truth you act normal. When you're lying, you're uncomfortable and you start acting really akward." I said. "Fine. I'm thinking about going back to my cave and do some research on this guy named Jack Johnson." she said.
Jack Johnson? Why does that sound so familiar?
"What do you know about him?" I asked. "I heard that he's killed over 300 people, and he's extremely dangerous. Also, he escaped prison, so I might go take him down." She said. "Where is he?" I asked. "Here in Metropolis." She said. "Then why do you need to go to your cave?" I asked. "That's where I keep most of my tools for taking down criminals and villains." she said. "Oh." is all I said.
Sarah's POV:
Dangit. I didn't want to tell him, but he knew I was lying about something, so I kinda had to tell him, otherwise he would keep bugging me about it. I could use some help taking him down though. Maybe I can contact Batman, because Jack Johnson is known for carrying kryptonite on him, and I don't want Clark to get hurt."I'm helping you." Clark said. "No you're not, because Jack is known for carrying kryptonite on him, and I don't want you hurt. Or dead." I said. "I won't get hurt, and I won't die." Clark said. "Do you know how dangerous this man is too you? He could kill you! I am not letting you help. I'll ask Batman if he can help me." I said. "I am helping, whether you like it or not." Clark said. "No you're not, so stop being stubborn." I said. "I'm not being stubborn." he said. "Yes you are." I said. "Am not." he said. "Are too." I said. "Am not." he said. "Yes you are, now shut up. I'm probably going to leave tonight so no one sees me go to where my cave is located." I said. "And I'm coming." he said. "No you're not. Hold up." I said. What is that beeping noise? It's my alarm!
I started sprinting towards my work room. It showed Lex Luthor attacking the Daily Planet. Dangit. Time to suit up.
"What's going on?" Clark asked. "Lex Luthor is attacking The Daily Planet. I need to go and stop him. You're coming." I said. All he had to do was take of his clothes and he was ready. Clark keeps his suit on underneath his normal clothes. I don't do that. I have to take my suit off it's hanger and change.
"Let's go." I said. We flew out of the window so no one would see us in the apartment building.
Once we arrive there, I could see how much damage there was. I then heard Lex speaking.
"I have been expecting you two to come. This is going to be good. I'm going to kill you both, and take over the world." Lex said. "No you won't." I heard a gruff voice say. I turned around to see Batman there. "Ah, the Batman. What're you doing here?" asked Lex. "You destroyed one of Wayne Enterprises buildings, so I'm here to get revenge for Bruce Wayne. So stop what you're doing, and turn yourself in." Batman said. "You really think it's going to be that easy? Well you're wrong. I'm not going down without a fight." Lex said. Lex then started to shoot at us. With me and Clark being bulletproof, we didn't need to hide behind stuff. But Batman's human, so he had to hide behind a car.
Batman then started throwing Batarangs at Lex, causing Lex to get distracted, allowing me and Clark to pin down Lex.
"Thanks Bats." I said. "No problem. Call me if you need my help with anything." He said. Batman hopped into his Batmobile and drove back to Gotham.
"Today has been a long day." Clark said. "Yes it has." I said.
