while jacob is staying with his grandparents in a small town in the middle of nowhere, he manages to somehow bump into sophia where they hit it off almost instantly
i've been sitting in the car for what feels like forever. we're like 5 minutes away from my grandparents house so i start to put everything i took out of my backpack back into it.
i then put my backpack where my feet are and look out the window, all i could see was just grass and trees.
then all of a sudden, the car came to a stop
mom: we're here ! she sort of shouts, looking at me then giving me a smile
she walks out of the car and so i do
i turn over to my left side and see my grandparents standing on the porch, waving over to us
i give them a slight wave and a smile
i grab all my stuff and head over to them.
i stop in front of them and give them a hug
jacobs grandma: hey baby, how are you she says, looking up at me giving me a huge smile
jacob: hey grams, i'm good how are you i say as i go over to my grandpa and give him a hug too
jacobs grandpa: wow son, you've grown a lot from the last time we saw you he says as he hugs me
i just give them a smile and grab only my bags again
jacob: im going to head inside and put my stuff down
i say, walking into there small old house
there house wasn't like an old haunted looking house, it was more like one of those houses that you just love and feels like home, the smell is amazing and the whole house is more like a cabin.

i'd always loved this house as a kid because it made me feel safe, it just felt like home. plus, everyone here knew each other considering the town was tiny.
i guess this is it, i guess i actually have to interact with people now. fuck.
