I watched Diamond sleep in the couch. She didn't want to sleep upstairs yet because she was scared. I sat right beside her in the couch. I guess i'm the only person she trusts. I hear the door unlock and automatically look over.

"you boo'd up with my daughter man?"

"how about you show your daughter around" I said with much attitude filling my voice. First of all the last thing i need right now is a relationship. I've been through enough and i'm only 21. I got up from the couch and she squirmed awake. She looked around.

"Sup" she looked at me and nodded her head. Her dumb ass dad came from blind view and started speaking to her.

"hey babygirl" she looked at him and rolled her eyes.

"why are you making me be your daughter? where was all of this when i really needed it?" her attention was full set now.

"im your father at the end of the day Diamond" she chuckled and looked away. It seems like she had something on her mind that she wanted to say.

"what's on your mind Diamond?" i said looking straight at her, disregarding her fathers continuous staring and looks.

"i need y'all to do something for me and by the looks of it y'all can do it" i looked at Cobra. Why he always got some shit going on.

"and what's that?" Cobra said calmly while sitting down.

"i need you to kill somebody for me." She didn't hesitate to say it or anything she was straight to the point.

"i would've done it but apparently you wanted me to hop on the next plane here. Where's my damn car?" i laughed

"in shipping" She sighed and palmed her head.

"Wait! where's my bags?!" she frantically looked around. I chuckled. Shorty really doesn't like to be out of her comfort zone.

"they are in your room" i said simply

"i don't want to stay here until Marcus is killed. I will go back myself with the things i have and kill his ass myself" she crossed her arms.

"We can make something happen. Tell Dex and Venus to get the hit ready" Cobra demanded. I texted them in a group chat since this is both of there project.

"Done"

"now Diamond wh-"

"i'm going to bed bye" she walked upstairs and i couldn't help but to look. Shorty was blessed. She had to be in her senior year of high school or something or if not i'm just going to have to catch a case. I looked down at my beeping phone and saw that Venus was arguing with Dex about some stupid shit.

Why the fuck would they put me and you together~ Venus

Damn that's my cue to leave. I stood up and stretched. My day is drained. I walked up the steps and walked down the hallway. Diamond probably couldn't hear me but i was about to walk pass her room. I stopped and saw her in the mirror. She was checking her body out as if she didn't like it. Shit, i did. I went into my room across from hers and changed into shorts. I laid in my bed and put my phone on the charger. I sat my phone down and laid on my side under the cover.

I heard my door creak and i looked up.

"wassup?"I looked at Diamond through the doorway. She was wearing a long shirt with shorts on.

"i can't sleep" I already knew what that meant. I know she's probably not looking for a relationship but this is a relationship type thing. I don't want a relationship either after what Cobra did to my girl and son.

{FLASHBACK}

"mommy mommy" Demetrius called out for Tina.
"yes baby?"
"i'm hungry" Tina smiled at her 3 year old. Nothing could make this bond any better. Tina grabbed the spaghetti out of the fridge and placed it in a bowl for Metri. She put it in the microwave while singing Resentment by Beyoncé. The food was done and she made sure it wasn't too hot before giving it to him. She passed him the bowl and let him eat. Tina picked up her ohone to call Damion but before he could he came rushing through the front door.
"Tina i need you to leave now!" Everything was starting to flash before Damion's eyes. His colleagues just got shot up and the people that came for him were coming for his world.
"What, Why?"
"This is not a time for questions let's go!"
"Im sick of you talking to me any kid of way Damion" Damion was starting to get frustrated. Little did he know just a few minutes away was death. Pushing and pushing with nothing in its way. He tried to get his Fiancé to move quicker but she wouldn't budge. He started panicking while she fussed. Damion grabbed his son and went out the back door. He put him in his car seat. Tina got in the passenger seat and Damion got in the drivers. He drove off without hesitation and headed for the highway.
"Damion what's going on?"
"People are trying to take you and Metri away from me" Tina stayed quiet. She was the reason why, she took his loyalty for granted and had the audacity to say yes when he asked to marry her. Tina opened her mouth to say something but soon, a big black Tahoe with a grill hit Tina's side of the Acura. The car spun around while Damion covered his face. The car came to a halt. Damion had a big open wound on his arm. He looked over at Tina's lifeless body trying his best to wake her up. He looked in the backseat and his son Demetrius was on his way to saying goodbye. Damion called 911 with a quickness. They were on their way. Lest then a couple minutes later Damion and Demetrius were in a ambulance on their way to the hospital were his son would spend the rest of his days.

{END OF FLASHBACK}

"come here" Diamond came quickly to my bed and got under the cover. I laid on my back while she had her arms on my chest.

"thank you" Diamond said to me while fiddling with her fingers.

"don't worry bout it" She nodded her head and found her way to sleep and so did i.
