Hidden Tears.My treacherous brain was betrayed,
By my emotional heart instead,
Without restraint you came,
Leaking all over my face,
My sobs were faint and untamed,
As my pillow hid my face,
My heart twisted and constricted,
Painfully inside my chest,
With heavy choking breaths,
My brain refused to rest,
My chest felt tight,
The tears felt right.
But afterwards,
Afterwards,
I felt light.
