SubtractionAs I drowned in too deep,
You slowly carved out a piece of me,
Unawares I let you seep,
The very poison that burned me.Like gasoline and fire,
Meant to increase destruction,
You burn, you never tire,
You aim for subtraction.Protecting me should be my priority,
Fireproof myself against the flame,
Momma warned against curiosity,
Guess there's no one left to blame.
