I'm clawing my way back to the surface
I can almost see the light
Ripping my nails to the quick
My lungs fill with dust and dirt
The mud burns my eyes
Am I dead or am I alive
I've been scratching my way to thew surface
So I can breathe clean air once again
I will survive
Almost there, the earth crumbles around me
The sun astounds me, it's been so liong since I've felt the wind
I shall cleanse myself
and begin a again, I shall wash away the pain
Please God help me to remember Love again
